Hi!
I want to first say thankyou to ConceptArt.org and all who sail with her. It really is a great resource for the most creative, imaginative concepts on the planet!

Here I am going to put up some sketchwork for improvement and feedback.

I havent picked up a pencil in at least a year so have been getting into practice again and loving it. Planning to scan in ideas now to paint over and improve my PS painting technique (definately needs improvement!!)

Image One: This was inspired by snake and spider forms and the instinctive fear these creatures give.

Image Two: Its a wormy crustacean thing. Looking at this still gives me the heebygeebees!

Images Three: The evolution of spider and snake creatures. And image 1 and 2 are Pitiful basic forms. All part of my Silent Hill explorations

The Weird is going to be very strong in this SB, i can feel it. Interesting concepts, but it's not always clear how all the parts move. It'l be an improvement if you start by figuring out the structure of the creature you want to draw.

Some new doodles. This one I was really pleased with. I like the head area of the figure because it looks like a sheet or stretched.
The exploding parasite I still like despite seeing the ones in Res Evil 5 recently. Still like it tho

I got quite bogged down with this image. Ive spent more time describing the textures of flesh and bone. It was important to me to create a non-humanoid form, with necessary recognisable human anatomical elements. I also wanted to have the Angel in action rather than just posing like a prize pansy

Hi,
I am posting this because its really just a painting exercise. I wanted to learn how to paint the different textures and light qualities. There are issues with the pose which I will probably revisit.
