    *summer droppings*

Here's a few new'ish pictures. Quite busy with work things these days, so not a whole lot of stuff to show at the moment. I also jumped on the bandwagon and started a blog where I post a lot of crappy sketches - feel free to check it out if you're so inclined. Hope you guys are all doing great...and maybe I'll have more stuff to share soon. If you have any feedback or comments, please feel free.

    cheers!

A mandryk pos tis always a good post! Yippee! My favorite would be nr. three, the lighting on it makes it feel really special, plus it's a chick with a ridiculous big big gun, that's always cool. I'm just wondering, is the fourth one inspired by Olivier Ledroit in some way? The profile reminds me of his work. Nice play with brushes there btw.

kickass. I like the blue demon guy (simultaneous Contrast Baby!) and your brush use in that piece. All good pieces though. Hope you're having a good summer.

    Hey Daryl,
The first three pieces are beautiful, especially loving the motion and sense of action in the poses of that man vs robot image. I love the mood of the underwater image, is that a special custom brush you used for the bubbles?

This work is fantastic, I like the underwater one the best, you have a great use of blur/motion, gives the work energy, hope to see more.

Mmmmm these are some tasty droppings. Always fun to see new work from you. My only crit would be on the green one. The foreshortening on the arm on the right isn't reading, it looks like a tiny arm, and the way the wrist is bent it looks broken.

Great work as always!! I love your technique, classic compositions, poses, and armor. My only comment is on the sniper, he's got a scope but he's not really using it.

wow, these are so rich!!! awesome colors, poses... the female soldier piece is just amazing!!! I've learned so much already from that piece just by looking at it. I love the contrast in pretty much every aspect of that piece. Awesome work!!

    Hi,
If I may, I'll give some crits.
    - brush strokes (impasto) on the first one are obviously added afterwards as a texture and look a bit fake
    - on the second one, the closed eyes stand too close too each other. some volume of the eyeballs could be also visible
    - on the third one, the ears of the girl are way too low. also, the faces of the grunts should get some light casting.

    But,

    Duuude!

    This is all fantastic!!!!

    Take care,

    Khan

    Mandryk great stuff as allways,

I would like to say tho that the ears of the third image are way to low (as chupacabra said allready)

the first one is a nice addition to your set of robots and guys fighting.

i love the overal look of your works, and the looseness of your lines, keep at it and keep posting
