Hey, some great shapes you are exploring there. File size, however, is waaaaay too huge. It's hard to look at, try to resize your work so that it's less 1000 pixels across.
Overall, a lot of your lines are fuzzy and hairy, try to clean them up a bit.
What are your goals with this sb? Hope to see you post later.
Yes I'll definitely resize my next batch. My goals? hmmm....

more.
Hey MC, thanks for checking out my SB! I'd suggest that you spend plenty of time looking around @ other artists sketchbook forums for stuff that you like, and ask lots of questions! It can be very influential and informative. I like some of these forms your coming up with. Looks like your having fun (I especially like the last one); Try and draw through the forms as though they were transparent on objects that you want to be symmetrical. The robot with the rectangular head and pointy torso for example. I hope that's helpful :X Also, keep up the life drawing!
Thanks T-bone. Drawing from life, right, not living things, not people. I see people every day, when i watch tv what do they put on there? people. When I listen to music, what do i usually here? people. When I look at art? more people! i need a break from people somewhere. I'll draw them in school. (don't mean to offend people artists its all good to fantastic) .here is a little more.
more.

And a couple of new ones. hope they are liked.
looks nice but i have no idea what are those things and what is your goal. are you trying to develop your skills in drawing robots and mechanical objects? then i'd suggest giving them some volume, because your stuff looks kinda flat and abstract to me (still nice and decorative, very pleasurable to look at)
A little I doodled this morning.
Very nice start for your sketchbook
I would recommend that you edit your first post and write:
my name is blah blah blah, and i want to learn how to draw or improve my drawings in blah blah blah. lol
Anywayz the designs are very creative so far
One crit i can give you is make some of your lines a bit darker and some lighter it will give off a better effect.
Also do life drawings of objects, draw everything you see around you. Carry a sketchbook with you every where and just draw what ever you see.
This is a reallly great excersise because it teaches you to observe and see, also line quality, rendering, light or what ever it is your looking for. I'd recommened you add some rendering to your drawings just to make them more 3d.
Keep it up and thanks for the nice comment on my sketchbook
peace nd have fun
I don't know either what those things are but I enjoy watching them nevertheless.
Try to shade them. I'd love to see them with some shadows.
Right on. Yeah, you want to see some finished stuff? Something that has values in it and is maybe a recognizable object, or place? Sure. And if you don't know what these things I've been posting are then your in the same boat as me, I guess I'm just having some fun. I'll try to draw something today, if I'm not to busy. Thanks, thanks.

other end of the arrow...
Hey, you're making a nice start herethanks for commenting in my sketchbook.
You have a good eye for the important parts of a picture in your line drawings, especially those trees. If robots are your thing maybe you should study vehicles and robots? concentrating on surfaces and how they interact with light? maybe try drawing them in perspective? orthographic and oblique is good, but if your aim is to put these things into situations I think these are limited. I'm liking some of the motifs you're coming up with
Thank you kindly Danyal, I see what you mean... Here sketched this pocket-knife this morning.
you obviously have drawing skills but your drawings also appear to be very elusive through the effect of your line quality. very gentle and placid. its nice to see but also a little hard for the eye to focus on with so much white space, if this effect is something you are not aware of, perhaps its worth having a go with a pencil thats a little heavier, say a B?
Thanks Re@per. Yeah I'm doing these still lives to help me out with my values, then I'm gonna go back into some of my better sketches and complete them.
another still life.
Great sketches!
I like your first few drawings. You have great draftsmanship! Did you take CAD or drafting at some point? Might be something to look into. Getting objects right at every angle can be a challenge!
Keep up the mechanical drawing!
These two pieces don't look as nice, I was content with my previous still life drawings, but I can't figure out what is different about these.
Please let me know what you think.
Very patient, meticulous work photosynthesis! Keep it up.
As mentioned though, they seem a bit tentative. Don't be afraid to be bold and go dark...in fact, maybe try locking up the pencil and drawing straight in pen and see what happens? Like huiloyik, also hope to see some human figures sometime too! ^_^
Keep it up!
Here are some doodley doo dads.
Hungry macrophages!
oh still life drawings.
more.
woo! go macrophages!that's quite cool, I've wanted to used a stained plant vascular bundle for an acrylic painting before now, need acrylics of course. Just shows you can find inspiration in all kinds of places. Good to see you're keeping it up; a lot
. the 3D fork thing is nice, shows a nice understanding of shape that I think I possibly don't have, keep it up

You've got quite the hand for lines.I wish you'd darken the first couple of pages a little more. It's very hard to see on my monitor.
Your shading is also very good. As others have said, the white space is distracting just a little bit. Maybe try doing a full page of shaded drawings? Just a suggestion. Great stuff you got here! Keep on drawing!![]()
"Looking for critiques! Any help is appreciated."
Hey school just started back and AHHH!!! I have to put together an ap portfolio of like 30 finished pieces, and they have to be all kinds of amazing, here are some recent drawings, and some from my previous sketchbook also. no scanner woah camera's are no good for thisbut oh well. enjoy. crit. do whatever. I even drew some people in here.
