Man, LOVE the chiseled look in all your work! All of this looks like you chopped it out of a block of stone, all these figures look like you could just reach in and wrap your hands around them (and struggle to lift them). Great work .

Still kind of wishy washy on it. Haven't touched the re-done arm... I don't really think I should finish it... but I should!

His face is at least skewed. I'm still not sure about that arm, but I'll figure it out. It just looks awkward when I flip it, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's wrong.

Hey thanks for commenting on my work. I was wondering if you could be a little bit more specific on my last piece that I posted. Too be honest, I've been doing everything you've mentioned for the most part so I'm a little confused. I think I've really gotten better recently and I think my last piece shows it.

I don't know. I think it's kind of cool. Maybe you should develop the relationship between the ship and that rock in the foreground. Like put a man on it or a city or something.

Ok, so I'm trying to work some stuff into a regiment. I'm going to do gestures a few times a week, full on studies a few times, painting studies, etc. etc. so I can try to improve a bit more.

Here is something I think I should do more often. It's like random sketch pages, but it's a random painted sketch page. Probably a lot of structure issues, but this is really the way that I love to paint.

Artfix gave a link to some brushes, and I think they're awesome as shit.

the lastest compositions are looking good, i'd say keep pushing them to the finish, and i think your new value studies will def help improve the overall power of your pieces.

Began working an illustration for Mountain Wheel. No it doesn't pay, but it has an art director who makes decisions from my sketches and deadlines. These things I need. If not I'll always render out what I want to and finish it when I want to.

Here are my initial Sketches for "Humans Versus Neanderthals". The way I see it I have to figure out the main action first, so here's me doing that:

The character painting in #245 is epic, I like the brushwork.
The spaceship environment looks creepy.

As done as is gonna be. They seem to like my work.

So, I think it looks too much like he's putting weight on the extended foot (which might or might not look extended) and it makes it look really long. Oh well.

Namae- that's the plan. The head hauncho guy of the project likes the black and white work. I like the speed and work-flow I'm developing. You learn a lot from DOING. I just need to reference a lot more while I'm doing.

Small update, cus I had to work tonight. Work is really getting in the way of my art, I can't wait until work is my art. I'm actually starting to become confident that might possibly happen. I'm totally stoked to wake up and do art, come home from work and do art, do art in my sleep... I wake up when I can't sleep and start paintings. I'm really in the zone, and I hope to ride this to some major improvements.

I couldn't leave him hairless for that long, that's most of the reason I'm compelled to update with this tiny move. I think the form will work out okay, I need to be faster. I NEED TO DO MOAR!!!!!!!!!!!
