Yeah, I guess I should start wondering as well. Thanks for checking this out, Radpost- I appreciate it. I've been getting the unfinished comment a lot since I've been posting on here and have got to do better about this.

I did some quick thumbs for some characters I'm working on. They completely suck and I'm going to go do a few more now, before I go to bed at like 7 AM. I can hear the damn crickets.

    EDIT: sweet- page 2.

i think it would help to keep the thumbnails more graphic and also draw them bigger. Yes, they are meant to be small, but not that small. It almost makes it difficult to see what's going on...
    Keep updating

    Sup Quig!?

    Page two, eh?

I think your color work is your strong suit right now, and your drafting skills are lagging behind. Lets see you whip out some pencil studies. Or Tin style pen drawings, because that really helps you notice things.

Good work though, and great improvement from a year ago. I guess things really did click for you huh?

cool work man!.... really enjoyed the final paints you have up....when you lock down and finish your pieces they really show a strong vision.

would love to see more line drawings and workings from you. perhaps some done in pen or brushpen...or maybe just straight digital ink. no real smooth blended gradients.....just black n white with implied gradients thru crosshatching.

    take care

Hey dude, thanks for dropping by the SB with the helpful tips! You've got some amazing looking stuff on here. That Mountain Giant in #39 really sucked me in. Great colour palette on that one. I love its sense of scale and depth of atmosphere/environment.

So far no crits, will check back in later.
    Peace dude!

that last character is good. i had a little trouble reading the right hand until i saw the pencil sketch, just a nitpick.
Overall good stuff, your work has a very dreamy feel to it.

Thank you again for the input and advice on my digital painting. Your work is amazing. I hope to get to that place one day. I think I need to invest in a color wheel too. Can't wait to see more of your work man.

    Yeah dude!

I think you should finish that orc, it's a damn good start!

If you do end up working on it, be mindful of the forms of the foliage, and cast the light on them just like anypthe form.

    Keep rockin' it dude!

    Thanks guys.

Artastic- glad to see you're a fan of Ghostbusters II. I religiously watch it at least three times a year, but went on a binge Christmas vacation from school and watched it like 10 times straight. This was a result, and remains unfinished mostly to be finished when I watch the movie again.

Whitney- I mean, seriously? Maybe after the surpuissant larvae communicates with the paladin.

Here's another... start. Might get finished. After I look at it I see a lot of ways it could be better, therefore planning and sticking with images is a priority for me... well will be.

    Everything's a Midtone:

I think the painting techniques are lovely.

But the underlying weakness in your drawing ability shows though.

    More draw, less paint?

Number #14 painting with the white dome and #31 with the red structures pointing out...kind of look phallic...maybe that's just me though.

But painting of the smiling guy, "King of Hearts" is coming along great. The style is warm and I think it would fit perfect in a children's book.

Thanks guys for saying that about my drawing. The FUNNY thing is I usually really just won't spend much time on a drawing because "I'll just paint over the lines anyway 'huck'huck." Realizing lately that I can paint things faster if I have a more defined drawing... and it's leading to (hopefully) better pieces (hopefully.... hopefully... for the fourth time.... hopefully).

There's so much shit to update these days and I'm such a hermit. Blogs... websites... this thing. HAHA. UPDATE RAGE.

Last two are sketchup models. That's a hella fun program.
