Wow very interesting SB.. Your style seems to me to resemble how I would draw/paint things. Of course, you have a better grasp on values. I would be very interested to see your progress towards PERFECTION! DRAW DRAW DRAW! and paint.

The girl and the speedy are really great The inks could have used more black in the darker areas, but this is just personal opinion

    Great job

Decided to drop by! I think you have a good grasp on colour and lighting. I can see you love to draw trees! There's something about your faces, though, that makes them appear flat. They aren't as three-dimensional as your sceneries. Let's take for an example the woman in your May 14th post. The eyes should be deeper in their sockets - more in shadow - and the cheek bones should have more light on them.

Good stuff. It looks like you really focus on getting a specific mood across in your illustrations rather than just rendering out the subject. You don't always see that. Keep rocking.

Great painting going on in here!! Nice to you the constant strive for improvement ( which shows!!). One tiny nitpick is the facial structure of the girl in post #194, her face seems to be almost rotated off her face, it doesnt seem to correspond to the perspective of the cranium of her skull.
Other than that, great work!! and nice trees too!!
    Thanks for sharing!

wow man!!! that lizard is so awesome!! i just love the little saturated details on its back!! and the final version of the pirate is great too!!! you really got me with that one! i'm a real fan of pirates you see, and anything island-ship-ship reck- arrrgh related haha
i just think you should pay attention to his proportions a bit more; or even better, when you're working on him either flip the image to see the mistakes (if you're not already doing this) or let it be for a day (because the eyes are already used to the mistakes) work on something else for a change! and alternate between them?

i think his right hand is way to big, and perhaps his right arm to; his legs, even if the pants could be big and baggy, i think they're to thick, looking at his overall body and his head size; the left hand on the other hand (lol) is really awesome!! and i just love the smooth pose and its colours!!!
the background has some nice colours itself too!! and the piece has a nice piraty feeling

    so yeah!
    JUST KEEP AT IT~

not sure whether right or not, but i suggest the sky would be darker to create some intense atmosphere its only suggestion though but so far the pirate's progress was kewl

What did you mean by your comment btw? Were you talking about paintings or drawings?
