So, I did have a lot of undergrad stuff here, exclusively traditional. Had to change my sketchbook pic though. If you want to see the old stuff go to my webpage at www.coreylamb.com .
Anyways, time to work.
Cheers.

So. How about a few chuncks of personal info-
I am 25 years of age.
I have an amazing wife named Amanda, she shows up in my work pretty often.
We have an incredible 10 month old son named Harper, he pokes his head into my work now, too.
We currently live in Houston, Texas.(Our hometown, so to speak.)
I recently took an academic leave of absence from SAIC to raise my son closer to family.
Back in 2006, I received a BFA from a small state school called Stephen F. Austin State University.
I worked a lot under this guy------> www.robertkinsellartist.com
Currently, my interests have swung back around to illustration and concept design. (Hopefully I'll be creating and posting some things soon)
Umm...okay.
cklamb
A quick sketch of Brit.
I really need to find a better way of getting quality repros up...anyways...sketchbook fodder.
The Sprout and the Bean
my wife and son...chicago
An oldie, but it was an aha painting for me.
.................................................. ........ok.
great start man, very inspirational and traditional media like these are a joy to look at.
Solid anatomy skills and a beautiful sense of colour.
I have nothing but praise at the moment mate.
Keep up the good work!
Cheers

Come, critique our art and help us grow!
Great pictures... your coals and pencils are great! i really like the one where the naked guy is sitting on the floor looks awesome !![]()
keep it up mate! nothing to crit!
I simply love your drawing style, especially like that on the first skeleton (the one without head) you posted. Simply amazing.
As for the digital image, you're on the right track I guess. Defining the mass before you go into the details that is. That's pretty good for drawing with a mouse anyway, but better don't get to used to it since mousedrawing is a complete timewaste if you have a tablet at hand![]()
Yeah...I need to break down and buy a tablet but I'm beyond broke. Just ask the banks that own my student loans...I was pondering a bamboo...but I'm not sure if I should just save up for something better.
More WIPs. Suzi with uzies.
absolutely stunning! Glad you stopped lurking, this place is a lot more interesting with your artwork. Love your traditional stuff, I never thought a row of light switches could be so intriguing. It will be really cool to see where the digital realm takes you, keep it up!
Mad skills, beautiful wife and baby too!! giving you stars!

So, I am getting my tablet soon. Like end of the week soon. I think I just peed a little. So, I'll hopefully be finishing up some of these WIPS.
I finally got my first tablet! Intuos 6x8.....I'm in love....anyways this is my first speed sketch with it. I'm still adjusting, but I can't imagine photoshop without it now.

I think your pictures are really deep.
My favourites are both form the first post. the one with the blindfolded woman and the one with that nude guy beneath the sink. really strong pieces!

Katzenmine- Thanks, hopefully I can infuse the same conscientiousness in my illustrations as my personal work.
nice man. keep it up
your traditional stuff is great, just keep drawing!
Exellent trad stuff, you should try to carry some of that clean stuff over to your digi stuff, that might sort a lot out.

lol , funny popping eye balls , on that green one ^^
The drawings are really nice, I think you should try and transfer a bit of that aparent skill over to the digital stuff you do. That would also make it more interesting to see what kind of studies you will come up with in the future
-E
I think your right E, I'm going to do try to treat this as if it were just traditional materials from now on. Not try to be "digital".
Just finished reading the Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Chabon...so logically I'm going to do a few super-hero sketches.

Trying to really push this one all the way skill-wise. Namor, the Sub-Mariner. I have this one up in the critique area if you have any ideas.
