Hey there Nika (or Azha)? Thanks for dropping by.
I can see you are improving from your first stuff, just keep drawing more anatomy and portraits and remember proportions and stuff.
When you paint digitally try to keep the brush's opacity high. Don't make it too transparent especially when laying the main colors. only drop the opacity to sort of blend colors.

Here's a video tut from Feng Zhu which touches on that.

Thanks Philipopotamus for your kind words, you can call me Nika. Is kinda hard in digital but more flexible, i don't know if you fell the same but for me to fell the paper is like a holy grail in comparison with digital table which is kinda cold, but I need to get use to it

Good to see you are doing plenty of studies. I'd try focusing on some basic construction before all of that rendering though =]. Keep working hard ^_^
It's not who I am underneath, but what I DO that defines me

hmmm, this is one case where i'll say that you should focus less on color and more on sculpting a form. Usually I'm the opposite, but i feel that your work needs effort put into form and shape. If you juggle colours, it can often throw your focus off the sense of depth & shape and focus it instead on colour play. Umm,less variety for a while and more grayscales and you'll become familiar enough to form a shape coherent enough that the colors do not obstruct the painting

Hey Nika I can see you are improving! Your rendering is already getting better, just remember not to use dark harsh lines on the edges of shapes you paint(such as the ones around the skulls teeth). Don't use them in case you want a more realistic look. Observe the value/tone of the object and that will show where an object begins and the other ends.
Keep it up! I love the skull by the way.
