I have no idea how you produced this work. I love the mood, but i am wondering if the background should be so vividly rendered???? I love moody stuff..in your work you create interest by how you catch reflections, how you choose to light your piece, how you choose compositional elements, etc.

in this last update I am wondering about the choices, mainly because it is a good work and I am always looking for ways to learn. so help an old broad out man...give us a bit of hint....on what goes on in your head?\\

then again writing is a pain in the arse...

I am also trying to figure out what teapot meant by warped?????

He's using mostly warm grays in the creature, while the background is a cool gray. Because of the contrast, the violet color of the cool background gray will seem to become more vivid.
