Those Hero studies rock! You're right, it's a beautiful film! Definitely would love to see more!

Honestly, with you kicking butt in the EOW, and your enviros...I'd really like to see you push one of your environment sketches to a finish. You've got speed down it seems.

Loving it all man, keep up the great updates!

Hey dude, I love your industrial stuff. Obviously its what you best known for and it shows you have spent a lot of time refining the style. Well done.

Good luck with your anatomy and human characters, I see big improvements already!

destyinyapocalypse: lol, some others have pointed that out, but I don't get it. That guy is jumping out the plane beneath the wings far behind the propellers so he won't get in there. Those props are very large, so is the plane. Maybe that is throwing off the illusion...

youngpaddy: Thanks! I tried to make it catchy!

Saturns gate: hey man! Thanks very much! Yeah, need to try to get out my comfort zone

    oh, someone noticed!

liam.c: thank, dude! Love your works!

Earendil: thanks! Yeah, I am think I am just lazy with rendering. Right now I am concentrating even more on getting speedies right. I'll pump some more refined enviros out for the EOW 100 thouh...

Wasker: thanks, man! That site is hel-looks.com
Sketchmeets, huh? Where do they have those?

    JoshK:
    thanks, man! Appreciated!

    daroz:
    thank you!

Baggend: thanks! Yeah, I do like doing comic stuff from time to time! Will see about more to come in the future!

Delmar: many thanks! The movie stills I did by blocking in direct color slobs. Actually i do that for speedpaintings in general, not only if I am looking at reference. I dunno why, but I hate coloring lineart. Tinting monochrome paint works for me, but the results always look inferior to using direct colors...

Mitchell: ho, dude! Thanks a lot, man!

    chupa:
you, too mate! Always glad to see you in here!

algen: whoa, thanks a lot, Hannes! Now I know better!

Looking very awesome. In the bottom sketch I'd recommend putting one or two more people walking around the structures (particularly having someone walking along the path towards the entrance of the top left one, as well as the little man to the lower left of it for scale).

It's just that it took me a while to notice the front door on that building, and to realise that there was a walkway, so an additional silhouette might help.

    Keep up the good work.

love that cowboy-samurai, tis east but west. Where can i remember that from?

    ahh Bruce Lee the movie.

I don't know what but something is bugging me about some of your works, the softness of it really throws off the better parts if the image, and its realy confusing because in places where not much attention is placed the edges are hard.
    For example the automoton/chow
the arms lighting is soft but right on top it is hard showing the different panels of the arm with a line.
the face is too soft for me too
however there are really distinct hard edges on the window

Is it just me or have you heard this before? I don't know might be wrong I mean it's nearly 12 now so.

Great work though. I love that mountain scape with a unicorn a path, beatiful contrast.

    Hideyoshi!

I'm getting quite the education from your environments. Is the environment for that train station on page 2, the same one used for your spaceship crashsite entry? That's cool!

    hunchbackmagee: thanks a lot!

Vulgar: hey dude! Hehe, nicely put, as always!

Thanks for the crit! That hasn't really dawned on me yet. While I did pay closer attention to edge quality lately it's apparent that I need to work some more on it Usually I like to render skin with the soft-round brush especially on female ones, hehe...
Sorry, I could reply in much more detail to this issue, but my head is empty right now...

    headlessAdi: thanks! love ya, too!

BlightedArt: haha, I was waiting for someone to point that out. The Challenge brief didn't allow putting in any figures or vehicles! I would have loved to, believe me...

    Chupa: big thanks, mate!

Damn. Loving your brushwork man. And the skytrain piece is amazing. Can't get my head around how you come up with these designs and compositions.

The gunship is awesome too, but the guy looks like he's flying by setting his farts on fire, with the trail coming right out of his butt haha
