I like your hand and life studies.
Purr. :B
You should post some of the atelier stuff, even if just to look damn serious!
The women at the end from life? Looking good~~
(Dunno if it´s just this laptop or not, but most of them seem a little pale... hard to see. Go for the darknesssss!)
Thank you Black Spot! There will be more of it =)
Thank you!
Yeah it´s from that folkkulturcentrum thing. It was nice, she did some pretty funky poses. Did seem kinda unnecessary to have a 35 minute break in a 2 hour session though :/
I know, I know... I need to go darker
Ok I´ll post some School stuff then.
I´ve been studying at atelier stockholm (www.atelierstockholm.se) for a year and here´s some of the stuff I´ve done there:
How do I attach an image to have next to the name of the thread btw?
Some more quick figure drawings:
And some stuff from imagination:

nice sketches!
Like the horse!!!
Thanks Chuck!
Eh, a month since last post... laziness.
![]()
No more laziness!
Those Atelier studies came out well. The Bargue drawings are nice and your quick figures are very well done.
Critique for the boy with large hands: You've aligned his shorts to rest on his shirt as opposed to his body.
Only the heart intrinsically noble can succeed...

Thank you Ian! What bargue drawings are you talking about? I haven´t posted any bargue copies here (though I have done a couple).
I see what you mean about the shorts though, thanks for the critique!
I´m back in school now!

Have you been forbidden to draw hands, feet and faces or what's going on in those last life drawings?
The imaginatory drawings... think about the pose more. In the last one he would seem more determined to have his way if he had both of his feet steadily on the ground. Right now the pose is fairly unnatural as it seems to be a mixture of messages.
The troll is extremely pretty, getting better, much.
(...I'm getting scared here.)
duuuuuuuuuuuuuuude, how's things?! incredible progress lately, dynamite sketches, loved the zombie pic too.
Hoppas allt är bra, jag ser fram emot fler uppdateringar!! Kul att du kom hit.

Mitja - Well, the first of the lifedrawings went kinda crappy and I just kept changing things... so just ran out of time. In the second one I just wanted to do some rendering... hence the lack of face. Have to take the opportunity on those thursday figure drawings... I guess you´re going to like the new lifedrawing
Thanks for the critiques! ... and yes, you should be scared!
T-Dawg - It´s nice, back in school with a lot of motivation to draw at the moment =) Thank you!
Still thinking about starting at Atelier Stockholm?
Tiny update:
![]()
The stripey shading is a bit of an attention hogger - it makes it seem at first that there's much going on in the shadows, making a viewer look there... when there's nothing else than the lines....
even it out... or work more on the drawing.![]()
Mitja - I probably need to practice just getting the drawing right more than rendering but... rendering is fun.
Stupid feet :/

I think your portrait of Cindy turned out really good! I can see that all those Bargues and stuff payed off, compared to mine your portrait is much more smooth and clean.
Also, is that Zorg I spy there in post #7?
My progress at Atelier Stockholm!

Textures by Stoph and Serpian! You can contribute as well!
Serpian - Thanks! Yup that page is reffed from fifth element and conan.
I promise there will be feet in the next lifedrawing
School assignment to do an image for the theme "Prometheus". (The titan that stole fire from Zeus and gave it to the humans... and received the punishment of having an eagle rip out his liver, resurrect the next day only to have his liver ripped out again and so on for eternity)

1-3 hour lifedrawings... except the last one wich is actually over 7 hours
Another topic in school
"The creature was magnificently adapted for digging and tunneling in the hard earth"

I really like the third figure drawing in this post. Even though they want us to focus on the figure, I think you captured her portrait quite well, she had a very interesting and hard-to-draw face.

lol the last one is great, great idea. a little chiu-ish (i mean bobby chiu)
great lifedrawings too. !!
Hi there fellow atelier student.
Very good progress. The casts are really nice, especially the horse. Damn good for only a year, began my first cast 3 weeks ago at the Florence Academy in Gothenburg.
Keep posting, looking forward to see more.
Serpian, thanks!
Kfeeras, hehe now that you mention it, yeah it is kinda chiu... just not as good ofcourse =) Thanks!
Pencilator, hey! And thanks!
I´ll post at least something from imagination in the next post...
The first 3 drawings are from a workshop on the russian method of drawing... with a teacher who has studied at the Repin Academy in St.Petersburg.
He drew on my drawings quite a bit... the second figure barely feels like my drawin, the stuff that looks good on it is mostly his
This was supposed to be a 5 week drawing, 3h per day 4days per week, but the model just didnt bother showing up after about half the time...
Drawing for the theme "fall" (autumn)

But isn't it good to watch someone like Alexander DRAW?
(I'm sad that he didn't draw at all on my drawing)
The longer pose looks interesting - it's definately representational, but it still has this sort of ... really abstract feeling. I guess that's in it being unfinished, but it's not necessarily a bad thing.
(Meaning it actually looks interesting D: wtf!)
härligt att se lite schmull gooodness här i trakterna också!
lovin it mate!
Great life drawings...man I need to do them too haha.
Ow and those cast studies rule too, so, I haven´t much too crit.
Keep it up...cya
Awesome life drawings. Awesome everything drawings. Great Sketchbook!

Mitja: Yes ofcourse, wouldn´t have learned nearly as much if he hadn´t. Just saying it because I don´t want to take full credit for something that isn´t completly mine
Thank you! I would definitely have prefered to finish it though :/
Flaskan: Yo! Tackar! =)
Ghoulio: Thanks!
Donalfall: Thank ye!
Will get started with some painting after the christmas break :o
