Nice clothes studies! You might want to have a look at some Mucha, he has some amazing clothing design, sometimes a lot of cloth but still half nude, the best of both worlds.

Well Fallenangel, the last two hours or so have been a treat. Your sketchbook is a great playground for the mind... very inspiring, especially near the beginning with all those crazy ideas.

And lately you've really upped your game, improving all aspects of proportion, anatomy, color, values, etc.

This one rules, btw, it must be said

No really, i mean it, it was so hard for me to make even a simple full body sketch.
That quote cracked me up because I had just been through your whole thread to that point, and you turned out the best pencils you'd done.

You understand the point, tho, right? Better is relative.

Your digis have really come along ever since an admittedly frightening start. Best advice there is to try to work in layers; and if you can't do that (because you use Painter and don't like how the alpha-blended pixels look (they're white)) then at least use a process where you go about your painting with a kind of workflow.

For instance, think about the local colors of your objects first (the color that they actually are) (and lay the colors in). Then determine the locations and strengths of your light sources, and what color those light sources are. Render those in separate passes, if possible. Then render shadows (form & cast shadows) on a separate multiply blend layer. Then go for highlights and extra details.

    That's just one possible workflow.

Then there's the composition issues. This digi of yours got much better when you added the smoke to the sky... the lighter part of the sky framed your subject (the girl's face) very nicely, and it provided a good focal point.

Read up on the Windmill Principle; it should help your digi's edgework, and even the edgework in your pencils.

Finally, I'm just a hueg <== (4 chan influence) fan of your work, and am gladly subscribing and dropping some stars here. Your heart and desire and abilities are artistic and you do interesting and fun things.

    Ciao and good luck.

The clothing studies look great! More of those please
I really noticed that some nice folds add a lot more interest to a characterdesign, so I guess it's worth some extra studies
    Keep up the great work!

p sage: Thank you for all the praise at some point i started to blush, i still have a very long road ahead of me in my art "path", and there are so much things that i want to "master".
If i"ll make it one day to a full professional career, partially it would be thanks to your and other support that i received over the years, so, thank you again.

AvisNocturna: Thank you...the inspiration for 'em came from your own studies

Booobies! And about the piece. Looks pretty cool. My only sugestion is that you could try to more control your values to convey space between objects better.
