Haven't done much of the painting today... just struggling with the hands, i've got also tons of pencil pages but i"ll upload them tomorrow....

Nicely done. But it has some issues that need to be fixed. First thing is her left hand, it's a bit off, and her left leg need to be reshaped, it's to small. I have the feeling that shadow she is casting should be fixed to. I really like the rendering, especially on her face, good work with this one. You could also consider adding some more atmosphere in front to push her figure a little in to the background. It think it make perspective more convincing. Can't wait final result .

Anyways thank you, i'm trying to improve my painting skills as fast as i can not fast enough unfortunately.

Ramalooke yeah it kinda bothers me too, but i was too tired with that pic because i actually started it with the intention not to spend more than 2-3 hours on it, finished with more like 10 hours spent but i learned so much in the process too.

i posted the ugly doodles as well so you could see the process that goes in my head..i"ll show you the finished pages as soon as i can.









ugly quick (30 min) paint studies didn't want the accuracy just wanted to feel better with painting forms.





and a wip painting...trying to implement all what i've learned from watching sam and miles...it's kinda fun to implement PS techniques to Painter.

oh? this whole time i thought you were using photoshop but turns out it is painter XD. i love the comic-strip doodles. you seem to put a lot of energy and time into it even if they are just sketches :3

The hatching and faces look awesome!The poses on some of the figures from imagination look a bit stiff, I suggest to play more with slanting hips and weight carried on one leg. It totally confounds me how prolific you are, keep it up!

n1frit I actually prefer to talk and write in russian but i ain't got a russian keyboard on my laptop and it's dumb to write in russian using english alphabet.

smuli Thanks, i'm really struggling to get my own drawing more dynamic, still dunno how to do it and how i can get it better.

A. I hate my internet..that keeps crashing when i need to go to bed..
B. i hate my paper sb...because i can't put some pressure on my pencil without tearing the paper...
C. i hate that i don't have the money to buy some normal paper so i have to draw the comic pages on regular A4 printer paper...blah...

Девочка, на которую мы смотрим сверху тоже хорошо получилась, правда почему-то не нравится мне эта зеленая штука с ней... А еще ее руку, которая к нам ближе наверное можно было немного выделить... например сделать тело за ней немного темнее. Знаю, поздно уже комментариии по этой работе писать -_-

i see what you mean about the hand too...unfortunately for me you're totally right, but i really don't want to get to this pic in the nearest future...just because it's seems a bit boring to me now.

So much updates, that's great. I'm sure you will achieve your goal in no time . Your sketches are as always pretty damn good. About your painting with a flying lady and a plane. I don't like the composition, it's little messy in my oppinion ;p

Thanks mate, yeah i see what you mean.....i'm soooo frustrated with that pic that i'm really considering to quit painting it...it's just seems to me that i started something that is way out of my skills range for now......AAAAA....who the $&^% i'm trying to fool...it looks like crap!!!

Oh well...(goes back to his paper sb in shame...) here is the update probably the last one for now on that wip...
