    Witchblade VS Manga.... doodle
    Hey guys and gals
    I made this doodle today while i was browsing DA,
    don't get me wrong i love some mangas and animes but PEOPLE!!!!! half of DA is only manga/anime fan art stuff.
    What bugs me alot more that there are ton's of talanted artists that spend their time drawing chibis and bug eye girls, when they could easily become so much better.

    In my opinion maybe manga is suposed to be on of the last styles of art that you do/learn, but in no way the first!!!
    because first you need to know how to draw a real man/woman and only than you can add them what ever your mind can think of ( big eyes, big boobs...etc.).

    You have a very Michael Turner (may he R.I.P.) influenced style. Which I like. But make sure your work is your own, or else I think people might think less of you later. Other than that, things look great, keep practicing and some of your concepts are very creative. Keep up the good work!

    Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.

    One problem I see happening frequently is how you place the hair on the head. It looks like there's not enough volume coming out, as if its comes out of the head a little bit and just flops. It gives the impression that the head is smaller than it actually is and gives it an shape.

    I'm enjoying your sketchbook though.

    Your drawings are really impresive! I like that hint of michael turner in some, mostly the ones on page 1. I love him.
    I really like the male angel you posted recently.
    The body proportion looks really nice and I like your shades and depth.
    And I love your noses.. I love drawing noses lately LOL..
