Hey all, WOW almost a month without a single post... was all kinds of busy and actually had no time and no inspiration to paint/draw.

Here is a sketch/study and it's progress, i made it today 5-6 hours in total... i hope that i'll start to update more....

hey dude! long time no see, nice painting of this girl I like it, try playing with some cool vs warm colors on the painting it will look nice.

Danny_K is right play with cool vs warm colors make it more 3d , maybe adding more shadows and lights .

Her left arm is thick compared to the body,
watch for the length of the arms, wrists mainly
are at the crotch area, so the hands should be longer
for sure. Thighs also look too long.
Generally some anatomy issues, so studying anatomy
will help you for sure. Great colors anyway, keep up with the good work.

Ok i gotta admit that i haven't been drawing much recently...had really no inspiration and no will to draw/paint and had other problems...i managed to make only 3 sketch pages last month!
But the most frustrating thing i understood today, when i wanted to make some pencil sketches...I FORGOT HOW TO DRAW!!!
No really, i mean it, it was so hard for me to make even a simple full body sketch.
Thus my tip for us all: if you started with drawing, never stop, you"ll just get really frustrated when you"ll come back to it later and realize that you can't draw even a simple hand.

So here are my attempts from the past month and the past days.

Long drawing absence is shit! I have so much stuff on college that at least two times a year I don't have any time for drawing for moth or more. So I know how painfull it is. But I must say that even you had such a long break your pencil works are still awesome. Nothing had really changed in way you draw you must be only your imagination

As promised here is todays update, some sketches...the goal was to reach 50-100 hand sketches but i fed up on the 30+...i've managed to make some painter studies but nothing worth showing.

Some nice sketches I see, good. I have one suggestion, while painting try to increase value range a bit. Right now in your paintings background have same values like foreground. It makes the painting a little flat.

i think your work could look much better already if you'd use bigger brushes
use allways as big brushes as possible, well sometimes use brushes bigger as possible - it will really help you bring your art to a whole new level,believe me

Your pencilwork is very good, but your figures sometimes suffer from some proportion issues, nothing that can't be fixed though.

"Drools" man some of the figures you draw look darn fine! the faces are getting better too, are you doing studies from books and photos or just from imagination? either way you got better... you could definitely work more on your colors, do daily photo/life study it will help tons man...

himart actually it's one of the characters in a comicbook story that i drew few years ago (she's supposed to be like some cat/human hybrid)...but i actually just like to draw when i have some problems with finding inspiration.
