you really seem to like big boobsinteresting style, incredible pencilwork!
Your digitals are starting to come together well, BUT
they are still waaaaay behind your pencil drawings.
No need to get sad about it of course, more training and painting
will be the right answer for your troubles.
About people not posting;
I believe Danny was just joking about the big breasted
females being a main reason for people not posting here.
My thoughts are; that you are not getting replies, because
you ain't replying either to anyone's sketchbook. Am I right?
Are you replying to other peoples sketchbooks?
And I am not talking about replying to sketchbooks with dead accounts,
I mean on the sketchooks with active users, who are also working hard
as you are.
Just try it out. Go post some comments to some other sketchbooks, and
I am sure, that those people will be so good to return you the favor.
Anyway, I am just trying to help you, cause that is the way things are
going on here. Hope that you will try out my advice, get some motivation
and post a lot more paintings and drawings. After all, you are a master
pencil artist if you ask me.
Cheers.

I Totally think Tackling some well rendered B&W Digi then slowly introducing color through monochromatic and two color compositions would really do wonders for your digi work
you obviously have the skill its just about applying your knowledge to digital teqniques
As for this WIP its hard for me to find a focal point due to the busyness of all the brushstrokes. I think if you really started to identify which places you wanted more visual textures then others it would help a lot, also there is not much atmospheric prespective to let us know which colors sit on the closest plane, and which ones move deeper in to the canvas, so if you identified which areas sit farther away you could push those colors back, with greys and blues and bring the forground scene even closer with those warm bold colors.
keep up the great work ! hope to see more soon
:edit : the WIP 3 posts up seems to be working better as an Image IMO if you blended the backround and made it less important then the forground figures like you did there, it adds a lot more clarity to the composition.

Boooooobs yeeeaaah
Won't say anything 'bout pencils, they're awesome! The way you apply colors seems fearless, I dunno if it's actually the effect you want to get or not but if u're looking for more realistic tones the better way is to study from life. A truly 3D. One thing before bed every day... the final result will be hilarious
Anyway, good job, keep pushing the tablet =3

Thor looks like he is in love and thinks about his girl while slashing those bad guys. Or he is simply high xD Great dynamic painting, anyways. And the second one. BOOBS! Great work!
Hi Alex!
Your pencil work is amazing good! You still have a way to go with digital though and I think the B&W suggestion is solid. Do you have a Wacom tablet? I usually color in Photoshop and personally recommend using a brush with transparency set to pressure. As for critique on the Thor piece I can see a few problems that I will try to describe. The most glaring thing is that everything is super saturated which causes an assault on the eyes and lack of color contrast in the "interest points". Though you have values down with your pencil work here they're all over the place and detract from the dimensionality of the drawing and again make the contrast problematic. Thor looks kind of bored that he's fighting these snake things who themselves appear to be interested in something else. His pose could be milked more for dynamic effect by perhaps pulling the hammer hand back as if he is going to strike, making the hand holding the serpent seem strained against the force of the snake trying to bite. Maybe his legs and body are also positioned against the force of the snakes. The face could be either contorted in rage, appear anxious over the possibility of being bitten or concentrated in battle-focus- just not ambivalent as he is now.
Some suggestions: you could scan a pencil drawing and work over and under it by setting it to "multiply" in the layer blending options. Definitely work with black and white first so you can keep tabs on your color saturation as well as overall values and contrast. Make the areas with highest interest the most contrasted and this will draw the eye of the viewer.
Again, your girl drawings are top notch and I'm super jealous.
I could not resist so I did an overpaint just to show you how epic your piece is with the right values.
This is a very good reply for you, he concluded everything I wanted to suggest for this piece, another thing though that you could do is just learning some color theory and doing some still life with your wacom, it will help you to understand color relations and how color work, Im struggling with colors myself so I know how tough it is. here's a link that might help:

Nice updates. I agree that you should concentrate a bit more on values; Think in simple shapes when shading, not only does it make the painting process easier, but you also get much more natural results in the process as well. Keep posting!
Creusa Thank youi made a long way to hear those nice comments about my pencils, so i think i've got still a long way till i get to a normal painting level...but i"ll get there.
Ramalooke Thank you, i k now that his face is the weakest part, but i had no time to change it.
Hellbeard Thank youi will definitely use your suggestions, i need to study more of the color theory and try to get my painting skills to a higher level.
I also agree about the anatomy and the pose of Thor- i just had lil time to really think of the picture and it's compositions.
Thank you again for your comment.
Danny_K Hey, thanks for the links! I already read two of the papers. they are really helpful, i'm gonna make some studies using 'em...
cgaddict Thank you for the comment. I definitely will
I've been in Italy for the past few weeks so had no access to the internet or my Painter and tablet, but i made tons of pencil sketches....i"ll show them to you next week meanwhile here is a BW sketch and a WIP for the monthly Penciljack contest.... Starlord and Rocket Raccoon.

Wow! The last pencil pieces show a huge progress. Be aware of going to deep into that Gen13 and other comics' style. Why? Because many of them are just drawn wrong (does it hurt the figure to have this anatomy?). Your drawings and figures work, but try to use life drawing workshops or high resolution reference pictures to catch the right figure proportions. (last thing doesnt count for boobs, hehe). Keep on posting your yummy artwork! And about the alway used same face: I like it.

Hello there. Thanks for popping by my sketchbook. I see you are working hard and improving constantly. There's one thing that baffles me about your art: Your sketches seem to be from different world from your paintings. The form, proportions and overall quality of the drawings are so much better in the drawings. Especially the difference can be seen in the proportions of the face and the anatomy. Is this because you rush your digital drawings because you want to quickly start painting? Maybe you should start your digitals by doing pencil sketches.
Anyway your doing excellent work here mate. Will come back to see your progress.
Yeah, the pencils are incredible as you've heard plenty before, but work those values, put in the time, try to focus on some digital still lifes, and you'll catch up
Huge inspiration, keep posting!!

I really liked your raccoon painting, so I decided to have a go at showing how I'd push the lightning further. You already did some of this in your later version, but I was really attracted to the shapes of the first version so I went with that. I love the profile of the raccoon you have.

teapo Thanks
surusI'm actually still torn with what i'm gonna do with my art stuff, at first i wanted to be a comic book penciler (thus the comics influenced style and proportions) but now i just don't know... i gotta figure it out eventually because it's really hard to be good at everything- digiart, traditional painting, penciling, and etc....i just gotta choose a real direction to my art.
Placeboast Thank you, though i know it's maybe a mistake especially in these early stages i try to paint without sketching at first...i dunno why, it's just by the time i finish the pencil sketch i get fed up with the picture and want to move on.
Dope Fiend Thank you i will.
Danny_K Thanks mate![]()

Ok i've been busy with some commissioned work and some army stuff but here are some poop sketches from my sketchbook, there are a lot more but they don't worth the space on this boards...way too crappy even for me.
