    hey dude
I did a quick overpaint for your chow.
It seems that you used very strong and dark colors for the background which competed with the character, always make an Hue/saturation adjustment layer and put the saturation all the way to the left so it will become grayscale to check your values real quick. without good values your paintings will not speak visually and will be hard to read like in your chow, what I did is I brightened the background with an brightness adjustment layer to make your character pop.
and by the way that is not a bad illustration, your coloring has improved for
    sure good job, keep practicing
    כמה עוד למנייאק?

    cheers dude

wow massive update dude, your pencils getting better and the girl faces some of them are gorgeous. when you have the time go to http://www.posemaniacs.com/blog/ and do 60sec or 30sec pose sketches, it's crazy how much it pushes your gesture and anatomy understanding, been doing it for the past 2 days and I must say it helps a lot!

I love your method of rendering with pencil. That being said, I think spending a couple more minutes correcting proportions and doing some planning might get you better results for less work. Also playing with a few more body and facial types would give some variety as well. Keep at it!

good chow brother! again same problem like your last chow the character is competing for attention with the background, reduce background color saturation bring focus on the character.
What I did here Is I added atmosphere in the background with a soft airbrush and at the same time reduced the strength of the darks which was too strong, then I added some warm color from right because it seems like you have too much of cold going on so it can be a good thing to bring in some warm colors, it might come from a fire or an explosion or something.
Then I used color dodge for the computer monitor to give it a better effect and covered it with a soft brush.
Finally I felt it could have a better impact if I darken the whole image a bit by using the curves adjustment layer to emphasize the character and bring in a more suspicious and intense mood to the piece, watch his butt it's a guy right? so watch out not to draw his butt too feminine. this was all done in photoshop because I know you are using painter mostly right?
Now look how crazy your piece looks man! and I barely spent 10 minutes on it...
render it out and play with the effects at the end when you got the basics down, also don't forget to check your values by turning the whole image into grayscale.
if you want the original PSD file to see the layers and effects I added let me know.
We should do a collab dude maybe do an open canvas session or something.

Whoa I'm inspired to do some kickass tech piece now...
    Talk to you soon!

teapo WoW is fun but it takes way too much time, and time is what i don't have these days.
I use an old Mustek scanner i don't remember his number' i"ll get back home an tell you the number...nothing fancy though.

    Sycra Thank you

Danny Thank you so much for the help! I saw your comment only after i "finished" and posted in the thread, i almost missed the deadline...phhh...army stuff takes too much of my spare time, so i really didn't finish the pic.
I"ll try to play with the values and the background, it does look so much better in your version.
About the collab- just name a subject and יאללה lets try.

Here is what i posted in the chow thread.

Danny Yeah your probably right, gotta work on those painting skills too..just had too much work at my base recently, i barely have the time to draw.

teapo Thank you , just play with the settings till you"ll like what you see...it takes some time but it pays off in the long term.

Oh well some sketches...used Danny's advice and made some 60/90 sec sketches in Posemaniacs...enjoy.

Tried to make a sketch for this week's chow..but had way too little time to makeit in something normal.

I love your pencil work, so energetic!
I quick note on the last chow you posted, don't be afraid to really push the lightning to extremes. I think the piece would be a lot stronger if you'd pick one of the lightsources you have, probably to one from the screen, as the main one and just pushed everything else back. It would make the piece a lot easier to read and strengthen the atmosphere.

It's been a while since I have last posted here, and I noticed that you have mixed both greyscale and full color in some of your artwork. Plus, I have been improving on your digital painting skills, along with you doing stuff you haven't done before. In other words, still as great as always!

I like your pencil rendering.. there are really good drawings here.
sometimes the female faces look too much wide in my opinion, but the bodies have a nice touch.
