Would love some critique/overall advice!

I actually did this piece months ago towards the end of 2007, but I never got a proper critique on it. Since I tried a lot of new things with this piece, because I used it to represent my digital art in the portfolio I submitted to colleges, I think it would still help me a ton to get some tips.

I can see a lot of things that would need to be worked on (a ton) for the future, but I'd like to see what others can tell me.

P.S. Here's to hoping, as I usually do, that others' monitors will be as so very bright as mine.

Rockett: I like what you have going so far, seems to me like your need to define the light source better to bring out more detail and edges! I also think you need to work on the structure itself and sky more... Goodluck!

Aryu: Thanks! Honestly, I should probably go back and look at the anatomy/perspective again, maybe redline...

Racasdorph: Okay! Thanks for the tip; looking back on it, it's pretty soft all over, and nothing really pops out enough. The sky and structure definitely need help, you're right about that; it was one of my first attempts on both without direct reference.
