Making some progress on this piece.

Last piece looks really awesome!
Great you are doing progress in it
Keep it up, you're really doing well!
*whisper* perhaps take a look at my awesome books *whisper end*
Silwynar: Thanks!
Reworking this piece a fair bit... the composition was really bugging me, not to mention the whole thing was just too boring. It'll get there (hopefully).
Also, on a non-art note, I became an uncle today!I just had to mention that.
Doing some character concepts for my game design class. Here's the first one:

I really like those environments! Great use of light and colour. The contrast in the last piece looks pretty cool as well!

AvisNocturna: Thanks.
a la bapsi: Thanks, I had a great time with those portraits. Definitely hoping to do some more soon.
Here's a couple more character sketches for my game design class:

Calling this one finished, but didn't feel like making a thread for it:

Stunning piece... Gives me a feeling of sunset/sunrise. But the blue part is confusing but I love how the colors blend in the middle.
About the mountains by the water thingy where you complained about the composition. Would be awesome if you drew just a tiny tiny guy just above the waterfall, on the head of the crying girl.
Dreadful Look: Thanks! Just wanted to play with some crazy lighting on that one.
I'm swamped with jobs right now, but I took some time to go do a little more digital figure painting:

fantastic, as usual. ;D

a la bapsi: Thanks.
Still crazy-busy with jobs, which I can't show any work from. But here's some figure stuff I did earlier tonight:

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. There's the one problem with doing real work--you can't show it!
Here's a little something for my game design class. First time ever really trying to paint a map. It was more fun than I figured it would be.

More digital figure paintings.

How is the gesture on those digitals? lying and standing pose seem just a slighest bit stiff, maybe going for more gestural aproach in construction stages?

Nettle_Mountain: Good call. So much of my figure instruction lately has been really rigid and lacking in gesture. I'll try to put some more of my attention on that.
Little doodle for my game design class:

..Your environments and creature designs are breathtaking..I must say![]()
I like your stuff. I esp. like the figure drawings.
Whats the hardware setup for those if I may ask? Do you just plug your tablet on your laptop
or do you have one of those tablet PCs?
Keep it up with the studies! go go go!
Odayga: Thanks.
KingElvis: Yep, just an old graphire tablet and my laptop. Nothing fancy.
Sorry for the lack of work on here. Once again, professional work is eating up a lot of my time, and I also got to go to Illuxcon last weekend. One of the most awesome things ever.I recommend everyone to go.
Finally took a shot at a long-pose digital figure painting:

Super awesome :p
Thanks.
First up is a piece for one of my clients. Can't say anything more yet, but enjoy the pretty picture:
And now, a few of the traditional landscape paintings I've done this semester. All oil on canvas.

a la bapsi: Thanks man. I wish I had more time to work in oils... they're just an incredible medium.
Odayga: Thanks. And yeah, "painterlyness" is my ultimate excuse from rendering out everything. I do enough rendering in my digital work.
And speaking of digital work... Here's a few commissioned pieces I've just finished up. Can't say what the project was, but here they are:

Your landscapes are extremely majestic..It's as if I could get up and squish myself through my computer screen and spend the day in one. wonderful work![]()
lol, I'd love to be able to hang out in some of my environments. Wonderful escapism.
Doodled around with a quick character in class:
