    You know, looking at the thumbnail you can't even see the ripples. And considering how strong the thumbnail reads, I don't think you need the ripples at all.

    I like the watercolor look of it, you may try to tone down the ripples a bit as others say. Good work!

    I have to agree on the ripples. I would leave them in some select parts of the drawing, but not everywhere. This image is very peaceful though. Oh man, it's making me want to go drink a glass of water. (I think that's the strangest reaction I have ever had to a painting )

    I personally think the ripples look a lot like glass or a thin layer of ice and not so much water in its liquid state. I'd say it may be because the ripples are not *I forget how you say it* but consistent with the way the fairy looks. The fairy itself is nicely rendered, but I think you overdid it with the ripples. Farther apart, less apparent ripples may look better.
