You'd do well to revisit her face and simplify the lighting on the breast. Right now it looks lumpy. You've got areas of shade that don't make sense.

nice sketchbook! I can see your improvements from the first post until now. keep it up
You're getting some great observational skills and building up a really solid drawing foundation. I think it would be great for you to do lots of long, careful portraiture from life (a category which includes mirror self portraits).

Bandd - I think many of your motion problems may be solved with the positioning of the head. At least while rotating in the air from snowboarding, I know that by turning your head in the direction you are spinning, spinning becomes much more natural. In your drawing of the spinning dancer, her head appears to contrast with the direction her body is spinning - I know it would be a lot of work, but maybe turning the dancer's head may give the drawing a much more 'natural' spinning motion?
Just my two cents - I'm by no means a professional, or even a very good artist. You got me to join this forum though! Goes to show you I bet more people read through this than you think
This thread is really looking awesome - your concept of human anatomy is excellent, and you certainly have some talent. Would love to see more!
Keep it up!![]()

Your making great progress. How do you like the illustration course so far?
Great start to your SB, really like those fashion sketches. Thanks for dropping in on mine. And yes always from grey scale for me, though trying to bring in the colour earlier
