those are really really nice! especially the way you painted the clouds, and the first insect, but i think the one with the girl looking back needs a little more work, but just a little (i mean the bg, where she is in)

    Thanks DHTenshi!
The problem with the painting your talking about is that it is realy dark.
And making a good photo of a dark painting is not easy to do, and second, it is 200 cm by 150 cm, so a lot of what is going on in the dark part is lost in photo's,... sadly

Thanks Jillian, yes the last two are Photo's of swords I made, to use in paintings.
Like the black sword is made for the painting of the girl at the window.

nice studies! specially like the one made with oils, hope to see it finished, wanna see how it ends up, and the landscape paintings looks great, they have a sad feeling, not that they look bad, I mean that because everything looks gray, but I think you need to work more on the depth I guess

Thanks for visiting my sketchbook! keep updating man

    Thanks for the visit DHTenshi!
Yes Im still pondering about the backgrount of the nude in Oil.
Guess thats a commen problem if something starts oud as a quick studdy.
The gray landscape's are new to me so Im still trying to find my way with 'messy' collours.
Its also a bit scarry to get out of the convert zone of spending 1 year on a painting and then trying to spent 1 day.

Incredible atmospheric and thought-provoking paintings. The first tower piece is undoubtedly my favourite, much to the credit of your awesome looking clouds.

Are the latest sketches meant as ideas for a painting? If so, be sure to show us once it's finished, or give us some process shots while we wait.

    Keep at it

Your grasp of the figure is very good, but from what I see you need to work on the proportions of the face. Lots of quick studies will help with this. In particular, your lips are usually too small. Really, the faces are the only big weakness I see here.
I dig the swords. Study hard and you could be a great painter someday quite soon.
