That's exactly what I'm doing right now. Plus, this latest drawing has nudity (no penetrative intercourse, but still isn't work safe). For those who can't make out the text: the one on the left says "Failure" and the one on the right says "Success."

Hey! I think it's great you're clear about drawing what you love, but the only way to really progress is to learn the basics. I'm learning them myself, and I know they can be hard, or boring sometimes, but they're essential to every single artist who wants to go further with their art. You're getting somewhere, just keep up with the practices. Try to do more studies, rendering, shading, anatomy, gesture, and other stuff than your regular, usual art. Of course, I'm not discouraging you from drawing what you love! Just try to learn more so you can apply it to your regular style.

Keep it up! You'll learn plenty before you know it.

Hey man, thanks for stopping by!
Your passion for drawing seems abundant in your work. But as has been said, your fundamental skills are still lacking. I realize drawing your own stuff from imagination is fun too and I'm not suggesting you stop that, but if you really want to improve, I'd put the main emphasis on the basic studies. Besides, it becomes much more fun to improve after a little while! Keep this up

Just so you know, the page I'm about to link you to has models of male and female bodies their muscle structure only (if you're creeped out by that stuff, you've been warned ).

    http://www.posemaniacs.com/

You can go there and set up a slide-show that displays a picture of a pose for anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute or something, and it'll keep throwing you thousands of different poses. Spend a few minutes drawing the poses that come up (don't go into detail, this exercise will just help you 'warm up' and hopefully teach you a bit about poses, perspective etc).

It'll be interesting to see how much you'll improve over the next month.

Hey there. It's great to see you have so many ideas and that you're keen to get them down on paper, but, and I'm sure you're sick of hearing this, use all of the space on a page and fill a book or two with basic studies; just start off loose and bang them out one after the other, then as you get more confident, tighten up your lines and work on shades and rendering.

You need to spend a good while working with pencil before trying more complicated digital art. You have some great ideas though; maybe try writing down your ideas, think about how you want the piece to look, then spend time getting the lines placed right, working on proportion and perpective (imperative!) then adding detail and shading.

Again, great stuff, just keep on working and improving.

They're repetitive because that's what you really need to focus on right now.

I really agree with Snoochy when he said to keep it loose. I know you're trying to get a feel for structure by drawing humans a big puzzle pieces, but you'll notice that's not the case with real life. You might try going for basic outlines and shapes by drawing quickly and loosely.

If you need a little inspiration in that area, I suggest looking around http://muura.deviantart.com/ 's gallery.

Not to be rude, but The Virtual boy, lava lamp, and the hands were drawn from life (I used my left hand as the subject). Plus, I avoid DA as much as possible.

The hands or ok, but the lamp and virtual boy aren't exactly considered "life drawing"
