And a short break from bulldog series. A piece I've started while ago. It needs a lot of work to bring some life in it.
Cheers!

holy fuckin fuck-balls! this stuff is awesome!
Wow! I love the look of your characters and your attention to details
A very refresing Sketchbook you have here Nubb.
Thanks for the inspiration.
One ( dumb ) question: Do you sketch these on paper first or do you have a
magical pencil like brush?
And at times, your digi paints look like watercolor washes ..how do you get that effect?
Oh yeah..have some stars man!

All your pieces makes me want to stop and stare. Your style is reeally neat, like a mix of graffiti and superb illustration. I especially like all the details you put down into clothing, such as bags, belts and stitches, and seeing how you paint different kinds of materials really inspires me. ^.^

Benjamen Christ: Thanks mate!
YoungJr: Nice to hear.
the ANGRY filipino: Thanks for kind words. And for the question: I deal with crayons ( sometimes watercolor ), sketches on aquarell paper and digital. In digital matter I like painter. It has pretty awesome tools like artist's oils, oils, acryllics and airbrushes. All that gives a lot of freedom in painting. For more interesting texture I recommend overpainting instead of erasing or working on layers. When You put tons of paint and other media on canvas some dirts and spots are still visible which makes an impression of paint (well I hope it does)
SEVANS Thank You. So nice to hear it
enmi: Your compliment makes me want to try harder especially when I watch Your pieces. Thank You my dear
Well, check another step of the Nosports: Chimp and the gang. We're getting close to the end with that dudes

Hello! I need You to help me with something. These are some quickies for platform game project. They're sketches of a basic evolution stage of main character. Could You choose few shapes that seem to be a bit cooler than the others? That'd help going further with the concepting process.
Thanks a lot!

OK this is what I think would be the most appropriate stages to some of your creatures :
10,13,16,20,23 would be the 1st stage;
2,5,7,19,25 would be the 2nd stage;
15,19,20,22,26 would be the 3rd and last stage.
I Hope this will help you in your project.![]()
I salute you, your use of color, and shape is amazin, some of the most distorted I have ever seen but beatiful, keep it up man, definite 5 stars.

AS for the last one......my fav.: 3,6,7 and 13 have imo the most appealing silhouette and expression.

There are loads of really good SB's popping up at the moment, yours included.
Yeah, loads of character. Everything here is pretty cool, and your colouring skills are neat. The painted pieces remind me of 2000AD - particularly the styles of painted covers they go for these days. Very nice work.

gorgeous style!!
thanks for posting these, the step by steps are very neat as well!
Maybe try mirroring some of the colours in the green person thing? The white of the dogs is very stark and isn't really anywhere else, they stand out which is good but they stand out a little too much, if you know what I mean? Maybe some white highlights in the green person? Or lighten him up so he can compete a little with the dogs.
Really nice style by the way, I love that impasto smudgy paint look.
Whoa... I'm glad I've found your sketchbook. You have well defined style, and great works. Subscribed![]()
