Painter Intuos Buttons to Revolve Canvas

Hey all. One of my favorite things about using Painter is the ability to rotate the canvas interactively for drawing. Since it's set to "alt-space", I should ostensibly be able to do the revolve with just the buttons on my Intuos tablet. However, it doesn't seem to work, even if I reset the Pan/Scroll button to just a keystroke of "space". Anyone else have this problem, or figure out a way around it? Thanks!
