Random perspective question: do elipse templates work for 2pt perspective?

I figured someone in here would be able to answer it. It seems to me the ellipse template should only work with one point perspective, but then again, when working with ellipses the minor axis is the only one that has to line up to anything right? but yeah, do the ellipse template work for 2point perspective? thanks,

You can use templates for other round or elliptical forms besides circles in perspective.

An ellipse is an ellipse is an ellipse, whether you're talking one, two, or three points.

yeah, i think i'm way overthinking these ellipses. i get what you're saying though. though it seems like they might, they pretty much don't change from one to two to three.
