Looks interesting... but they are waaaaaaay too huge for me (at least) to see on screen.

maybe post them at a lower resolution.

Everything is excellent... except for those covers. The Flash one (that's the Flash, right?) has a lot of issues.

But, man, those first illustrations - I love them!

Study your anatomy and facial structure... The style is cool but with a more stripped-down look your drawing's got to be even more spot-on. In the immediate, use reference, take some pics of a friend as that'll be more tailored to what you need and take less time than trying to find it online. As for improving long-term, fill some sketchbooks with quick studies of people from observation - life drawing sessions, head studies on buses and in coffee shops, etc. It's good for you *and* fun.

    Sally goes to school

I will be improving on my anatomy and such. I also need work on comic covers, however I was playing around and doodling and this is what came out.

I think the problem with the comic covers is that you're trying to hammer your style into a format it's not appropriate for, and you're not totally comfortable with it. Both of them are just boring pinups, the Wolverine one doesn't have anything to do conceptually with his character except for the hair, the Flash one is almost as bad, because he looks slooooooooow. Whereas the more editorially oriented ones are really good.

I kind of like to see a comic where the xmen are all Japanese High School students...the way you painted Wolverine makes me think of those punk kids that wear the formal black uniforms a la Battle Royale.

It could. The problem is that the covers you've shown aren't really your style, going by the other pieces, they're a strange neither-fish-nor-fowl amalgamation of your style with what you think a comic cover is supposed to be.

Yeah, I can totally see your point. When it comes to editorials I feel confident and when it comes to comic covers I feel like I have to stick to a certain guideline. I think I just need to let loose and go crazy.

    Mech Design

My boss asked me to do another 3/4 shot, but this time I decided to make it more of an Illustration then the usual design sheet.
