Flaskpost-Hello mate, thanks very much!!! I start loose, working with values, and when i have a composition that i like, i push the values in greyscale. I will upload some thumbnails i did for the eow. For example when i will pick the one i like, i will simply keep up pushing the values and refining.

ok here some thumbnails. Not lots of stuff to show because i am thinking/experimenting more rather than painting ahahah, trying somethings to improve my values.

I like a lot the two last ones, the one with the vehicle makes me want to see you doing a finished vehicle/mech painting, this could be a cool piece to put a lot of details on ;D ^^

Hey you probably get this a lot, but your work inspires me to want to be better! Can I ask, with your digital environment thumbnails, do you work light on dark? I'm trying to nail composition and you work seems pretty amazing for that, trying to learn from your process as you've shown it! Thank for inspiring

Hey KK, nice updates. I do have some crits for you, regarding design. See below for the main one, but generally, I think you need to slow down. I really like your triangular building thumbnail as the shape is simple and powerful, and balances simplicity and a complexity, both in the overall composition and the design of the object. But I think you need to focus more on the major shapes of your vehicles/ships/characters, because you are getting bogged down in complexities that lead nowhere. Your small spaceship thumbs end up being greeble-infested matchboxes more often than they introduce new design "flavours." Core shapes before panels and such. I find keeping an eye on functionality helps the process tremendously by prompting you to ask questions of your emerging design to discover what it is trying to become. I hope this helps

Just a quick post mates.
First of all i am sorry for being absent but i am having both a problematic pc, 2nd lot of work and i spent lots of money for the workshop so i have to work like crazy, and third some health issues and i will probably have to do a surgery in the neck, so lots of stuff to tackle lol

now i am posting this because i heard once again about stuff related to CA etc. I just wanna say that the community is made by its people, so as long as we are true and supporting and sharing knowledge etc, the main mood of the site cant change.
Thank you all for supporting and lets all keep up wherever.

Ok mates, somehow i am safe for now hahaah, doctor said we still have to wait to see how things will go before doing surgery. Anyway i still have lots of stuff keeping me busy, and i am not that good financialy so i have to produce some works to send maybe to fantasy flight games, applibot or whatever. However that will make me work some illustrations. Damn time organizing went offside hahaha. Anyway lets all be good and keep up!!!
