Stunning work John!I was curious if you know Dean Williams, a teacher of mine, who studied with David Passalacqua at Pratt as well. It was probably at different times, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks for sharing.

interesting stuff these last ones!
Nice stylisation, and nice work station, it almost looks like mine.
sweet stuff, I like the strangeness of your paintings
I really dig your stuff especially the way you combine your main shapes for your compositions! Do you do thumbnails and comps for your illos... or do you just start laying down the design from your head without preliminaries?
Very nice style and I'm looking forward to see the animation... but I hope the use of the Lensflare filter is meant to be sarcastic because it's apparently quite a big NO NO to use it.
Cheers.
i love your linework. it reminds me of moebius.
As for lens flares, I like em' so I use em'... their are no "No No's in my world" Lately I go straight ahead with all my art without doing thumbnails. I want the art to be a surprise... and yes I love Moebius!!! Heavy Metal magazine was my introduction to art as a teen. For better or worse! laughs
I enlarged a 1 inch drawing to make this colored image.
I genrally like your works, there is a lot of Schiele syle, but enough personal rivisited, so good work man.
the last"from 1 inch to color version": I don't know exactly what did you make but the sketch have a lot of more energy. Maybe the sketch has movemebt where the color work keep everything at the same level... probably the point are the "wings", I don't know... anyway: keep posting please.
just my two cents
