    Help for BD Present

    Hello everyone.
Right now I have 21 days until the birthday of a friend of mine, who is very very important to me and for that I wanted to make her a special picture on canvas. It is a scene of a book I am writing on right now.
Her favourite is orange (more on the red side) so I wanted to make this sunset.
Need suggestions concerning my lightning test (2nd pic) anatomy, poses, positioning etc.
And the earlier the better, because I don´t have much time (21 days seem more than it is) so I wanted to start this weekend, but only with your "blessing"
So. Enough of talk. At least from me.
    Now it´s your turn
    Thanks to every comment

hrmmmmmmmm composition is a bit weak. We have a profile dragon against a dead on sunset. The dragon's head is very cartoony. You should spend quite a bit more time on the sketch and figuring out the lighting. I'm sure if you took more time you could turn a better image - go back, force yourself to slow down, do it again, and post it here

    Thanks.
But what do you mean about a weak composition?
And what about the way the dragon "stands"? Does it seem natural and is it proportional correct?

Well, the composition is very "dead on" meaning we don't get to see the dynamism of the dragon you've created. ACTION POSE!!! You dig? If you need some examples, take a look at Todd Lockwood, mr. dragon himself. you can find his work just by googling his name.
