    Axelga2112: Takker!
skMOP: Thanks man! You're completely right about the compositions!
kingkostas: Thanks dude! Yeah, that sounds like a good plan actually, haha. Maybe focusing on a single project would make me do some interesting stuff. Time will show I guess. I will!
    Heliux: Thanks a lot man!
skullsquid: Haha, means a lot coming from you, thanks!
    Spellsword95: Thanks a lot dude!

Woah! Only a month between updates! Haha, sorry for taking so long between updates, at least it's better than nothing, right? These are just random sketches for the most part. Trying to draw something worthy of a collab with Andrew Sonea (check him out, he's awesome). Going to Italy for a couple of weeks, hopefully I'll have some stuff to show afterwards!

P: Glad you like it man, they're a lot of fun to do! I got back nearly a week ago, but I did do some life drawing, I'll scan it soon.

Some quick B/W characters from tonight. They're a really cool way to get ideas down fast. Definitely gonna do more, and paint some of them!

    Brilliant sketchbook.

I love that kind of aesthetic. The futuristic world where everyone still has a sword. Very cool. John Carter of Mars type stuff.

Cool sketches! There's something I can only call "chill nonchalance" in some of the poses/gesture that I really like!

Well, technically the 5 year anniversary was yesterday, but who cares!
Looking back on the 5 years of keeping a sketchbook here, I definitely could've learnt way more, and been way more effective. But I've really enjoyed the process of learning, and talking to the people here! As for progress, there has definitely been some, and looking back on it is really cool, and I'm really glad I've been posting here for as long as I have.

Anyways, here's the art. The sketches are mostly from the Italy-trip. The digital piece is for the new ChoW. Thinking of restarting it, but I'd really like some crits!

Great sketches as always! I'm super happy to see you posting regularly, I see great things here in the future! The second self portrait is very nice too...just a bit more work on edges and it will really be a powerful painting.

Oh, and sorry I haven't been working on the collab any more since I last posted...I have been really sidetracked with thinking a lot about art and design and reading on it, and doing a bit of drawing too (pencils!). I'm trying to figure some stuff out right now so I kinda let the collab fall into the back of my mind where it is a bit forgotten for the moment...hopefully I'll be able to get back it at some point though!

DefiledVisions: Thanks! Trying to keep it regular, I usually go on posting-hiatus once summer comes around, so we'll see how it goes. (Summer looks far off though, given that it's snowing today.)
Andrew Sonea: Thanks man, glad you like it, I totally agree on the edges. It was a quick portrait though, mainly focused on getting proportions and values, gotta take some more time on one. Don't worry about the collab, just seeing what you did with it already was really cool, take all the time you need!

Quick update on the ChoW, didn't change much, basically just rendering and stuff.
