hey--i was told there was a lot to learn from people like preston blair, milt kahl or mr. keane when it came to construction[esp building on a sphere, which seems to be what all these masters seem to have in common with their process], so i recently took to it to try to get better at it.
i still have a very very long way to go but so far it's helped me gain a bit of confidence in inventive drawing. *_*

Looking at your breakdown of things on the other page (maybe a few back) actually helped me realize that doing that really helps you understand your subject a billion times better.
Anyway, the gestural drawing from today is pretty great! Especially since your using sepia tone on toned paper (it kind of gives an even more organic flow). How long was each pose? Because if these were the typical ones that my life drawing starts out with... these are even more impressive because it's really hard to get that much detail in like 30 secs - 1 minute. Maybe doing it with something that you have to just keep going with (sepia tone) might help a bit. Perhaps as just an experiment one day, you should try some ink in that lovely sketchbook.
Holy doo those gouache studies are ridiculous! I can only aspire to be able to use mine like that!!
Keep up the goodies bapsi.

Britney I swear those studies were pocahontas and not transformers? That character painting on the previous page is gorgeous. I always loving seeing how much you've improved, when you make it big then I'll attempt to come and be your sidekick in "badassery" specialisation
cool! >:B
