    forest path

    Hi!

    Didnt post here for ages.

    Heres a personal piece i painted, after getting an inspiration while walking through a forest in Japan.
    (Of course my forest here is not japanese)

    hope you like it!

    and a small progress shot.



    started in oc, defined values, rough color in ps, then added details.

    Sweet, I really like your brushstrokes here. Coupled with your colour scheme it really hits the mark The little blue frog seems to glow a bit oddly, if he's meant to be glowing maybe add some highlights cast from him onto closer surrounding objects. I really dig this though, thanks for posting your process too!

    wow nice job. really like how you painted the rocks and broken stones.
    the upper treetops could use a little more tightening but overall really great stuff.
