    Tumbling_Tiger's sketchbook

Greeting everybody! I've finally decided to really get serious about art. To improve, I believe the fantastic people on CA will have some pointers.
Thanks in advance for taking a look and throwing in critique, opinions or any other feedback.

    Enough talk, let's draw!

Some various stuff to get things rolling.

That's a nice start ,i like your female knight concept. It feels like you need to build stronger foundation knowledge. Maybe sketching thumbnails and doing some value studies would be a good idea. So keep on drawing :-)

Thanks for the feedback Zorly! You're probably right about that.

Here's some grassland/mountain sketches and a self portrait.

Great scene work. Perhaps practice anatomy some more? The figures seem just a little off. It looks like the female figure heads are a bit off from their neck, as if the head shapes are drawn separate from the gestural spine and neck base.

Wonderful armor design and weapon details! Keep up the great work.

Thanks Erin! Appreciate that. My anatomy knowledge is indeed lacking, I really should learn the theory and do a lot more studies.
    Anyway, here's stuff.

seeing your posts, i"m must say you're very good with different subjects

    keep it up

my advice would be:now you shouldtudy each subject more deeper, i mean concentrate each time on portraits, clothes, architecture ... and do much of them and make some finished works

as a critic for the last post: awesome piece of watercolor, her nose is a bit long (in fact all the lower part of the face should be higher a bit)
the hair work seems more careless than usual (careless is sometimes nice but only if you give the illusion of it)

you seems more at ease with traditional than digital man. isn't traditional supposed to be harder ?

keep up your nice work and good luck for your nexts

Thanks Zou for your input! I kinda do feel more comfortable with watercolours and pencils versus a stylus.
So, some acrylic and watercolour stuff again. Haven't had the time to paint recently...

Thanks Klaustrophil! I somehow seem to make stuff look very dull and digital or something the more I work on the piece. Practice practice...

Anyway, here's a painting done with acrylics.

i think you should do more countour or 30 seconds. you lines and painting seems a bit to choppy, try doing just 1 line to build the body. For painting, use big brushes to block out the area and then blend in.
    Sketchbook

I am going to be amazing! .

Marlo, thank you for the feedback! Totally agree about the choppy lines gotta try doing that one-line-body -thing. For painting I already do it like that, going in big and then blending and going smaller. Practice practice...

A few quick environments from photos, and random bikini girls with a bit more comic style, also from photo ref.

Some life studies for a change. Maybe 2-3 hours each? I don't know... What I do know, I really don't know how to take photographs or how to salvage bad photos in PS Not that I care too much about that... Hopefully I'll just learn to paint soon.
