It's not very exciting.

I'm sorry if it's a fat, page-stretching picture. It looks tiny to me since I have a 1680x1050 monitor. Awkward turtle... arm.

oh nice! i like it actualy, but i can sense laziness when i look at her legs and her arm as compared to the foreground and face as well as the flag, which have much more quality.
If I were you, I would go back and work on the arm and legs to bring it up to par, and have yourself a great piece. right now the quality isnt balanced.

what are the blue things by the way? they look like blue flowers growing out of the air

Great idea, I will go back and redo those. After looking at it for so long I lost perspective and didn't see that. Those are supposed to be flowers, but their stems kind of disappeared when I shrunk the picture. I think I'll take them outanyway because it makes the picture a bit too America. Red flag, white sky, blue flowers. I didn't notice it when I was drawing, like the legs.

If I reupload the new versions should I get the thread moved to the WIP forum? Or is it okay to make revisions in here?

I like the blue flowers... i think it is a great idea and also brings some color to the darkness.

Ok, take into consideration that I'm a beginner to digital painting and that my opinion doesn't have much experience to back it up, but here's what I think anyway:

It's a bit too blurry. You should Copy Merged and then paste it and add a sharpen filter to it, and low the opacity a bit so the final image is fairly sharper.

I also agree with P Sokov in that it looks like you got a little sloppy in some parts.

I really like the theme and the art, but it just needs touch ups. Like I wish certain parts like the face and the metal debris stood out more, not just a blurry mess. And I think the flowers should be a yellow color or a lighter blue, because the dark blue blends too well with the dark debris.
Add some darker shadows and brighter highlights too everything!

Just my opinion, keep up the great art, though.

It's awesome!!
I definitely love her hair and the sparkle of flame. Every motion has helped form its nice composition, the smoke, waving hair and flag. The only aspect I would love to see is her anatomy, well it's just for me that I thought she's a girl so...maybe thiner arm and make her legs get closer would be better. Hope you wouldn't mind these personal preference.

the thumbnail reads better than most on the page. Maybe just personal taste.

It did lose a bit once i saw the enlarged image(still very nice though). Getting something to work so well at such a small level is a win in my book, or atleast a potential win. Maybe going back and fixing some of the nitpicks others brought up would be worth it on this one. Well done
