ChuanMing: Thanks for all the good advices man! I'll do my next digi in grayscale at first. I've been looking around the internet for brushes also, and there's alot of great stuff! It'll be colouring like hell when I get a tablet!

SnobbyOo: Haha! My scanner does not work, but just because you were asking I took my time scanning the pics into my brother's computer, and transfered them to mine! Thanks for pushing me bro!

Some bridgeman studies! Really enojoyed these!

    Other studies

And some imaginative work done while waiting on the bus!

Dannelf, cool bugs you got going on here. I was going to say you should take some anatomy studies and life drawings in but it look's like you're on top of things. Good Hogath stuff!

tjabba! du sköter ju studierna fint. =)
tänk på linjekvalitén, och hur du renderar.
låt linjerna du skuggar med följa formen!

yousa: Thanks for the support! I'll drop by your sketchbook to check things out!

Flaskpost: Tack för tipset! Ska försöka tänka mer på linjerna, men gamla vanor är svåra att bryta!

SnobbyOo: Promise I will keep on chap! the tablet will be purchased in the end of the summer! Thanks for the kind words, and for keeping me active!

An imaginative drawing of myself! My first serious thing in ages! (might finish it someday to use it as an avatar)

And ofcourse some studies with ref. from bridgeman! haha!

Hey man, just wanna say you're doing great! bridgeman stuff is looking good and your imaginative stuff is improving nicely! Want to see more digi's though!

Also, try to pay more attention to the lightsource, because, in your last fully rendered drawing, I can't seem to find the lightsource! Other than that, you're doing great man!

Here's a little something you can try, take a study you copied from an anatomy book, then try to draw it again but without looking at the book. It certainly would be worst than the first one so I would redo the same study again.

ChuanMing: Thanks dude! I've got a digi for you right here!
Yeah, guess i messed up things with that! Will be better next time!

Ronald Liu: Good tip! Thanks man!

lilnebo: You're not allowed to do studies of people? It seems, just by having one little peek in your sb, that figures is the thing you draw most of everything!
Thank you really much for the encouragement!

A quite quick digi. I call it Highfly! ^^ haha

Thankyou Grafguy! I'll stop by your sb later!

So, here's my drawings from the last week. Not much to say about them.

    A bridgeman studie:

    And some imaginative works:

Tryed to recall some anatomy studies form head (like derriere told me), and some anatomy over all.
This is how it turned out:

Okey, so it's not what it seems like. I've been productive the last days and drawn alot. But most of it is'nt worth showing. I made a page with series, but it ended up with a boring anime-style so the hell with it!
I've been picking out half of the stuff i've been drawing to show, because the rest is just bullshit.

    First some halfcrappy scribbles

The balalaika-idea was quite fun I thought, though the drawing is messy.

    And some bridgemans as well.

Ey thanks dude! I'll drop by later!

I've been kind of lazy recently, though I've been drawing at least 20 minutes a day.. (heh)

I bought a A5 sketchblock which I could bring everywhere. So I filled one page up with bodies drawn from imagination. Gave myself like 1 minute each, so the lines got VERY messy.

So after having a more carefull peek on them I challenged myself to just use ONE SINGEL line as an exercise. (did not plan the pooses at all)

And here's an eye I did with ref.

Nice idea the one of the line. Another idea, try to draw using no lines, but just shading and being very carefull with the values, it also helps

very good stuff so far! you're pretty much of a worker, huh?
however, it pys off, you made some great improvement
love tho pose studies, those really do help, i can tell!!
you digital rendering has improved too but still there is not enough variety
last advice on your pencils try to loosen up your line. do this by drawing without rising your pen from the paper. and do also some hatching practices!! hatching can look pretty awesome, if done right

Dannelf, great studies!!! Keep doing bridgeman, love the one single line exercise too. I'm sure you must be exited about the wacom, however, remember not to forget your regular studies though. Or you know pencil on paper. ,)

    Anywyas, keep to it!

Just seen all this and very interesting to see how you've improved over time. The anatomy studies are great although try drawing a few skeletal structures, it could help you remember where all the muscles are placed. It would also help your proportions and scaling.

    Anyway, all good. Keep going.
