Cool man i like how clean they are, can i suggest you get a anatomy book and start with learning the skull and eyes because it is very noticeable, keep it up and post more.
aussiedeza: thanks dude, I'm usually torn between realism and exaggerated cartoony effects ... brushing up on anatomy is a good way forward tho' ...
some further work on my space marine ... think the head's too big for the armour ... can't decide if I want to replace his bare head with a helmet instead ... any crit/advice ?

thanks for the visit dude!!
your line work is very neat and defined!! it shows how close you are to your imagination when you draw. post more post more post more
hey thanks for dropping by sb. off to a pretty good start. i'd like to see more so i can give more proper crits. but from what i can see, i suggest doing more anatomy studies and studies on how the face is put together and try to get all the proportions right. right now your linework is pretty decent try using longer flowing lines and more weighted line throughout. as for the space marine i believe his head is waayyy to small. even if you are going for an exaggerated cartoon look its still to small, it might look better w/ a slightly larger helmet instead of just the head. other than that keep it up dude your on the right track.
To live is to create, to create is to live. Without art and music, I do not know how I would get by in my day to day life.

Started off as an inspired doodle which ran into some complications with the composition. Crits/thoughts ?
