I like the first one best. Wow, studying illustration at Uni- that's awesome. Wish I could do the same. Lets see more of your stuff.
iv been messing with pen and watercolour at the moment, quick and satisfying
the last guy with the bandana has some nice colors, and your faces are expressive.
needs work, but you're going to uni, so you'll get to do that.
good luck and enjoy![]()
Please take the time to give me some constructive criticism in my Sketchbook

cheers warforce thanks for looking
I'm not really feeling the watercolors, the style is to rough for my taste
I really like the first sketch in post #1 though
the details like eyelids and ears give it a lot of naturalism, without you having to add tons of extra information. the shading and the hair is good to, the lines seem to be going in the right directions.
the second sketch is great to, but I'm a bit allergic to extreme angle crosshatching, like for example on the forehead, but in general the shading is very good and I like the sense of different planes one gets.
where do you plan on studying illustration?

sartori,
i agree with you about the extreme hatching i sort of regret posting that one i am quite keen on the rough style though not necessarily in my work but definetely in other peoples. Im going to uni in sunderland, england cus i want to live in newcastle, cheers for the crits
The Willie Nelson is awesome!
Please post more.

some new pencil stuff mostly from photos i have to admit apart from the bulidings and nude which is an old master copy
Nice work, your line is very sensitive and you have a good volumes gestion.
My favorite is the old man colored with water color !!
nice drawings! keep posting i want to see more!
thanks for the nice comments cop and josef k heres a quick raphael study and some facial anatomy
ey
thanks, i find your work special, its some from evrything. You're right concurning the tip but i've studied on the anatomy and faces far to much. I want to draw some fun again. Now i'm drawing dragons and maybe tomorow a hippo or somthing like that. Just always changing. I do see that i'm realy getting better when i've studdied on the masters work. But for today: TIME FOR FUN. tomorrow: back to studying
Sebastian
P.S.: how old are you? if your drawing so good and saying that you would me better if studied Rafael of your 15 (please answer in MY sketchbook, or i will forget yo look here)
nice sketches, I really enjoy your Raphael study. I did notice that your full forms are based after very chiseled figures, it'd be cool to see how you do with a softer form where you have to make subtle indications of muscle.
look forward to seeing more of your works![]()
nice works! just keep doing the stuff you likewould love to see more watercolor!

im feeling frustrated with drawing so i dont have any work i feel is worth posting but i need to get into the habit
im doing portraiture at college so it will mainly be stuff like that now. apologies to people that dont like bad portraiture, people that do read on
There are very gentle, sensitive renderings in your moleskin drawings. Awesome.
I can't wait to see where your art work ends up. You have a good start going with your sketchbook. My biggest crit would be in how you create your forms for your drawings. It feels like you build up your drawing from one small detail to the next instead of getting the overall shape down and then working in to the drawing. This is how it looks, I could be wrong, I'm just trying to read your drawings. But if this is the case, this will help your proportions.
Thanks for commenting on my sketchbook. I made the change you pointed out. Which university are you going to attend?
thanks for the crit harlequin thats something ill def start doing
im bored with my portraiture project as you can probably tell
Hey dude.
Your portraits are looking good.
Some of your drawings show confident lines, while some seem a bit scratchy.
Keep on posting.
great studies man!
you have a long way to go, but i believe the fundamentals are already there.
keep posting here, i'll be checking from time to time!
frank

Hey, really nice workYou've got a good grasp of pretty much everything. Your cross-hatching is great; something I can only half do, lol. Looking forward to more.

Awsome stuff!Love your portraits!
keep it up!
I'm digging your portraits. The bugged eye anatomy skeleton in color wash was funny to me. You have nice and warm expressions on your faces
Make a sketchbook happy, feed it a tip to improve!
