Dana_T oh yeah i know what you mean ! it's kinda difficult for me but i'll try my best to achieve more 'life' in these drawingsthankyou !
PxelSlayer hehenaaa, your working hard aswell i see ! cool ! thanks for stopping by and here's one knightlink -> PUSH
so from today, the last daily-yay-day
sketching
studies
and (grahh) a photostudy. i wanted to do that one in one hour but photoshop crashed while saving it, so i restarted again and just finished it more sloppy than i wanted ... D:
sooo, my daily updates are over now, because i'll need to tackle school work again :/ must be done.
i feel like i already learnt alot within these 10 days, and i really wanna thank you all for your support, looking and stopping by![]()
that was a kickass effort man and it's definately paying off.
and I hope you keep with at least lots of updates if not the daily habit.
love the last photostudy by the way, doesn't look sloppy to me.![]()
Thanks for the links man!![]()
It takes some tenacity to keep going with something after a crash before the save registers. I like the sloppy look, gives it character. The colouring's great as well - bright, but natural. I love your photoshopped stuff. Your clouds are amazing.
The only thing that niggles me is the robotic figures in the second pic in the post after my last one - the ones in the foreground seem smaller (objectively speaking, o'course) than the ones deeper into the picture, which look like they're towering over the landscape.
A daily habit's good, too, keeps you improving quickly, but you know that already.Glad to see you've posted!
ETA: And I see you've reached the end of your 10 day streak, sorry 'bout that reading fail.I'm considering doing a 31 day thing in December, actually - my friend and I are challenging each other to do at least a sketch a day (though I plan on doing more than that). Have any advice for that?

Nice photostudie!!
Hey man nice work you have here.
you did a great effort lately with all those practices, i must say i like your environment speedpaint the most. Nice strokes and a good sense of light. The planetary landscape in #873 is specially good.
Keep working like this, and thanks for stop by!
monotony hey maaaanyeah i'll try to update regulary though
THANK YOU
Umbravita hahano prob man ! thanks ! oh that sounds great, it will push you both tons of tons hehe. hm if i got an advice ?! -donno, maybe draw as much as you can, in a change -over... from ref...from mind....from ref...etcect
my best of luck man !!
Lyno YAY thanks mate
Ricardo Robles wow thanks manglad you like it !!!
wanna do alot more environments soon
![]()
Damn, please make some tut or post some steps of the last environment? I find it so hard to do interiors!
Lyno haha thank you ! uhm, i didn't record the steps, but maybe i'll do that soon. i guess the thing about those interiors is, that you need to watch the ''focus-lines'' which lead into the backround. with the help of the perspective you have to create serval stages of interesst, if that makes sense to you. donno i'm not used to that aswell haha
here's an a3 pencil -grahh my scanner is getting worse and worse D:
i just did alot of experiments and failshere are some of them - gonna avoid that sloppyness in future i hope - sloppysloppysloppy

your really starting to explode man! diggin your use of colors
keep up the hard work is paying off

snooobbay, looking very good, the environments rock. A3 pencil is also nice, i think the legs could be a bit longer on that though. Keep it up dude, wanna see some more polished enviros soon, gonna be awesome.![]()
whaaaaaaaaaaat! That is some insane landscaping! I'm seriously impressed by these last landscapes and the knight study on the previous page. I think your digitals are a little ahead but I'm not complaining :p You've just motivated me to try a digi-photo study myself! Keep on posting, you are tearing through the pages

That industrial enviro in post 907 is great. You totally nailed the color scheme and composition in that one. Really inspiring stuff. Other stuff's looking good too.
More please.![]()
nice slopyness ! you should use all that brush texture to create an effect of scale, like a lot of texture on stuff that is close, but the scale of these details goes down the further stuff recede, ending up only with silhouette and 1 or 2 values for stuff that is really far. As always i really like your colors, especially the subtle tones on the face of that monkey thing,. Post 907 has a lot of nice varied edges, cool !
OmertA i hope so D: thanks man
Fetsch hihihii know these legs are looking to short - i was failig the baggy-sytle effect it seems ;p thank you my friend !
ThomasM uh, its getting hot in herethanks very much for checkin' in !
ismo feel hugedmore is on its way yay
Virg yeah white c, true words are spoken. these are one of the things i need to work on, hopefully getting better ! thank you misteryou'll post some updates again very soon, ok?
here's some sketches
and some scouts, i think one of the most important things is: to take your time ! - grah \o_o/ need to learn that aswell
see you soon my gangstafriends![]()

that last one kick ass, seriously, composition is great, colors are great, i really like he kind of fish eye effect on the rocks oin the foreground. I agree with you, something all it takes is to give it more time than the usual. Too bad i dont live in europe, id like to meet with you and other guys that live there ;P
Agree with Virg, the last enviro is badass. On your sketches watch your proportions a bit.
A section of cloud in that last one looks almost photorealistic. I love your composition, as well.
Thanks for the advice, btw!![]()
haha, taking your time and being able to get back to a painting and not try and finish it in one go is something I had learn myself. and still do.
on the last painting and lots of your enviros it can be a real advantage though.
your fast brushstrokes make it feel really exciting. love the colors as well!
more! now.
Awesome!
Great effort and it's easy to see that t most certainly has paid off! Great job!![]()
My SB: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...10#post2880210 - I'm a beginner, so please have a look
Those last few environments are really beautiful, would love to see some of them finished.
Keep it up.![]()
guys ,you are soo cool !
SamC glad you dig these mate
Virg oh yay, meeting up all together would be just sooo awesome ! hopefully ca.org will get some meeting time update soon D: but one day we'll sure shake hands matethank you!
Fetsch yep victor ... more human studies + attention to proportions *writes down keynotes* THX
Umbravita might be because its just an overlayed cloud-photojames paick uses this aswell - i think it works to create scale and gives the eye something very familiar to look at - if you dont overdo it
thanks dude !
monotony nice to see that i'm not the only one having trouble with iti'm glad you like it homeboy - hopefully the next ones will do so too hehe
MadisE your welcomethanks !
Emil_ hey manyep i'll do my best to give my images a more final look, not so easy for me D: well'c ! cheers !

Glad to see you're still posting! Your studies are lookin' good and your environmental studies are fantastic (o' course). Any tips to give a beginner? I always have problems picking out the right colors for such things.
jesus, great environment!! im getting behind in enviros, doing too much character designs :l
Dana_T haha thank you !but i'm just a beginner aswell D: i think thats its most important to get known of the value's attitudes and after that, to see how the hues react in the picture, like getting more desatureded the further they are moving though the backround etc.. photostudies as nice things to learn form
cherio!
Parsakoira hehe thanks !but your's are great aswell ... srly :o
the first exams are finally made, puh D: time to do some more pencil studies again ! cause these are improtant, hm, and because i suck :/ need to fix that

Holy crap, your dedication and your ability are just blowing me away. Especially with how far you've come since the start of your sketchbook. Guess it just proves that the two go hand in hand?
I'm absolutely loving these recent pencils and environments, aswell.![]()
This sketchbook is a good find! Love the mood in your enviros and I like all the preliminary sketches you do - something I need to do more of.. Keep em coming !![]()

paperblue rework - he really seems to be a demigod
sketch -so after writing this i'm going to look at some of my fav artists how they put the 'detail-vs-non-detail' down, thats quite hard for me ( esp. the detailed part haha )
and a 2hrs stiff boob presentation to break the comfort zone a bit
