    Jimi Hendrix interview

    Words of wisdom at 2:34.

Another cool revelation: Jimi was an army paratrooper. Whoa! He's like Bob Ross the rumored special forces commando. And they both had 'fros.

Amazing songs too. I like the Izabella song a lot (third vid).

Hendrix will always be unsurpassed, and is an easy choice for the proverbial desert island mix.

I thought you were going to quote him on being he the best guitarist sitting in this seat rather than the world. I admire his humility and wonder where his music would've went. I think his sound in these clips show an inkling though. Thanks for sharing these.

Cool stuff FlipMcgee! I just uploaded this video to Youtube (cause I couldn't find the same version there) with some other rare footage of Hendrix. It's his version of Hound Dog, played on an acoustic. Love this one.

And another awesome one on acoustic (from the Blues album):

Stand up next to a mountain, I chop it down with the edge of my hand

Mitch Mitchell was an awesome drummer also.

I wish I would have been at Monterey when he played.
