    BALD EAGLE!
Size A4, mechanical pencil 0.5mm with B leads used! It took me about an hour or so! I rarely use reference but I used one for this...

Feel free to give a feedback!

You have a lot of nice works, but recently you're tending to put too much detail on every inch of your character. For instance, on the two most recent pieces, my eyes are bombarded with details; it's confusing to look at. In the first one, it's difficult to see the form and shapes of your characters; it's saved by the heads and legs.

    Red face

    Moar sketches!!!

SOrry for the bad scan of the first image but the drawing was too big for my scanner and I had hard times to make it at least look some kind of a decent scan.. but whatever!

fishysmell - Thank you for the crit! The confusion comes from the fact that the drawing is not rendered yet! If I put the shadows and other stuff I am sure most of the details will be lost... so presumably the looker will then be able to delimit the characters and the main idea! However, you are right... GOSH those details they are making me crazy. Its like a heroine... when you get a taste of it you want more and moar : D !

    Mr.Twinkle-Eye

The idea came to my mind after looking at Alice Zhang's digital drawings... those colors... really inspirational! But nvm... so I was even more inspired after watching a documentary about Frank Baum and his most famous book Wizard Of Oz... so I decided to draw my own cat-dog looking character called Mr.Twinkle-Eye (trivia: smart, outgoing, cute, wily and ofc very funny at times). Actually I wanted it to be a cat but... nvm!

P.S. - FIrst digi since ages! (btw I really suck at that) and the crown on his head stays everywhere he goes...

Lovely drawings. I envy your patience, you have a real eye for detail.

Yeah, your digital stuff could use work. Get a sense of using the very basic brushes first, and if you need other brushes, download them from somewhere. Most of the default PS brushes aren't all that great.

But ha, love his character, he's adorable.

    The Passions of Pre-liberted Bulgaria

    Lets learn Bulgarian history!

This unfinished triptych depicts moments from the Bulgarian fate I consider symbolic. The Ottoman (Turkish) yoke lasted 5 centuries. You can learn more about the War Of Freedom in wikipedia... if you are curious about it.

All are drawn on A3 paper with pencil and I used references for all faces excluding the bodies...

1 - Бяла Черква (White Church)
    2 - Балканът (The Balkan)
    3 - Свобода (Freedom)

    Thank yall' for looking!

Really beautiful work! Extremely intricate designs/line work. I would take it easy on the lens flares though, but I do think it looks kinda nice in the last one of the last post.

Beautiful works! You've got a very pleasing linework to look at. You may want to pay more attention to your structure and proportions. Especially when you draw eyes one of them tend to look a little off sometimes. Keep up the great work.

The third picture in post 349 is glorious! I love it. You could make a wide version (just add white to sides) and it could be a pretty darn sweet wallpaper

It'd be good to see you vary your style a bit, so you can learn new things to introduce into your current one.

Curious as to what she's doing -- are her legs in water or something? I can't think what else it is, but I think the ripples could use more work, they don't really look like ripples. I'd also do some hand studies because they seem a bit awkward.

Love your faces. Lovelovelove your faces.

i like your lines... though i think that the texture on the sketches is almost too much and distracts from the actual sketch a lot... maybe making it less dominant would help

Thank you all, both for the kind words and for the critiques you wrote me! The mistakes you marked are true... I will try to improve!

Here are high-res wallpapers with the drawings in post #349 and a nude female study done with pencils on larger than A3 format! It took me less than a day to finish it.

I think this one of my favourite sketchbooks on CA.

I love the classical look of your figures, especially the faces. I think Sahara is the one the jumps out at me the most, the expression and movement are just fantastic!

In your most recent study, though, it seems to me that her right arm is kind of flat and indistinct compared to the detail you put into the rest of her, and I think her ribcage is a bit too narrow. That might just be me, though.
