Ha Ha ! I usually don't carry water colors with me. Most of the time, I'll draw stuff with a pen or pencil and a few days later, I'll paint over them.

I made the book in the photo from scratch. I really got into book binding a few years ago. If I have all the materials I need, I can put a book together in just about 3 or 4 hours.

If you are interested, there are lots of great books on the subject. I found this book particularly helpful:http://www.amazon.com/Hand-Bookbindi...6145304&sr=8-1

I think its great how you make your own books, I'd imagine it adds an extra personal touch to the work you do in it! I might even try making one myself
Also i really like the watercolours you are doing, its great how you've achieved certain effects in them, brings the pieces to life. Do you use any particular colour palette? Or just use colours depending on what each painting is about/what mood you want to achieve?

Your watercolors are awesome! One of the only people that I've seen successfully work that medium. Any advice in their use and application?

MonkeYoakum: Dude, you haven't seen anyone use water colors till you checked out Sargent's stuff: http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0520...38#reader-link
My only advice is to keep it loose and use paint all the time.
codenothing: Get some! Watercolors are really fun.

Neat. I really like your girls and vivid colors.
Like if I found your sketchbook discarded in some remote area with no identification, I'd be pretty psyched and keep it in my book shelf <_<

Like some other people said above, you have a great fluidity to your style. My favorite one is the two pager of the face muscles of the guy with I guess a pig ear(?) definetly cool. Man, this website intimidates me!

    Thanks Ja love everybody!

Ninjerina: I think the "pigs ear" was the skin from that dudes face. I copied it from a photo in a book about human taxidermy.

Heres some from my Saturday morning figure drawing session:
