Here's some more Life drawing and a Jack Kirby inspired acrylic painting. I guess I should note that these aren't really in a sketch book. The acrylic one is on bristol board and the others are on sheets I pulled out of a biggie jumbo.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "build". Do you mean like building up paint layers or spend more time constructing the forms? I'd like to hear more.

Life drawing is always a struggle for me. I spend the most of the time just trying to calm myself down and not panic.

So here's some more Sketchbook pages. I've been working on my demo reel lately and I do a lot of doodling on post-its while I wait for test renders and stuff.

wow! I hope you have fun with them. My only advice is to not be very precious with them, keep it nice and loose.

So here's my sketchbookin' for tonight. Apparently I got Wolverine on my mind. Also here are some photos of my current sketchbook. I'm pretty proud of it because I made the book myself. Also you can get a sense of how big my sketchbooks are. Thanks everyone!

This brush pen is awesome... hands down my favorite I've ever found.

It has incredible range for a small pen, I've got a pick up at my SB.

You're right about the non-waterproofness of it. It can be a little smudgey if you're not careful, but it's ease-of-use totally outweighs that fact for me. Simply uncap, draw and recap; no clean-up, no worries... super-easy refills too!

I've never tried using it on a wet surface, I'll have to try it and see how it reacts.
