This just can't be helped- I have to say it!
Your stuff is amazing! I'm glad you work traditionally. Very refreshing work!
狐lee: I'm glad! I recommend you get back to that comic book!!!
enthombed: Wow! My own folder! Thanks!
Bill: Thanks dude! I really appreciate your posts.
zwarrior: Thanks!
HugeHarHar: Thanks! I work on the computer all day so the only way I can make art at home is if I work traditionally.
Here's an illustration that I did for CD cover. This is the front and back. I posted it in the Finally Finished section but ti wasn't getting much traction so I thought I double post it here. The title of the CD is Amantes/Amentes which means Lovers/Lunatics (in Latin I think). I was going for a David Lynch style hotel scene with some punk rock colors.
And here's a recent sketchbook page:
And here's a little study for my current comic book project:

long time no looksie for me and yep... you still kick ass. Love where your work has gone and eagerly anticipating where it goes. When's the comic come out so I can grab it? That album cover really grabs me, having just indulged in a mountain of Lynch I'd say you nailed your intent. Aside from the title for the CD who's the musician(s)?
Oh yeah! I forgot to say! The band is called "Nautical Disaster" you can listen and purchase from here.
I just enjoyed that amazing work on your blog!
Thanx for your art man..you really inspire me every time!
Sorry for my bad english...

Wonderful use of ink here. Really cool. :>
Hey, Dig that crazy retro style in some of your work. Feels comfortble and yet new...like...ummm...like a hip new pair of shoes that don't need to be broken in.
Great SB! BTW...had just spent the evening surfing for info and pics on Rasputin. Love those panels.

Ho-lee! Awesome on toast. Certainly keeping my eye on this sketchbook!
Haven't been in here for a while, but I've been checking out your blog. Your comic is looking dynamite! That album cover is killer too. Love the colors and the lighting from the lamp. Great work!
awesome and inspirational too, to pick up my sketchbook and watercolours again.

DANKA: Thank you! that means a lot to me.
Limely: Thanks!
Jephyr X: Thanks!
Slothboy3000: Thanks!
GHill: Thanks! The lamp light was something I really struggled with. I wasn't sure it added anything to the cover. So I'm glad you liked it.
comixnut: Thanks! Watercolors are a blast especially for sketchbooks!
wesburt: Thanks!
HunterKiller_: Thanks!
GETBUCK: Yay!
DoubleThink: Thanks! that water color head was me just fuckin' around with paint but I was happy with how it turned out. The only thing that bugs me is that I should have put a dolphin jumping a rainbow behind it. That would have really made it look like a retarded hippy painting.
Here's a few recent sketchbook pages. I hope you like 'em!

I finally found a place to do some life drawing. I think it's been a year since my last session. So this is what came out of there:
Earlier this week I started this as a warm-up drawing but it got WAY out of hand.

It's all good, but i think i like that abstract inking exercise thing the most. That and the hand holding the paper. Very nice pictures, fantastic lines.
Dude! Super refreshing stuff, love your line work.
