I think that your works a too blurred... Also, exept the last one, they need some more details to elaborate.

Yeah the last one is the sharpest but also suffers from a lack of contrast.

This one - is my favorite though, cool dynamic pose, reminds me of the Madonna video from Frozen.

Yeah. I guess you guys are right. Most of them are speedies, so i let the brushwork appears. The problem i didn´t realize in the monitor i was working is in the last two images. I see now they have some serious issues as you guys pointed out... Gonna work this out...

Thanks. And more to come soon.

Thanks Clochette. Here ya go! This is a watercolor version of the same drawn i painted digitally before. I´m not sure the photo is ok, as i said before i´m working on a tricky monitor... This is a version i made before changing his clothes and props design.

The same Space Girl character in watercolor. I made some major changes on the Lizzard design for the contest, but i still have to scan or take a photo in order to post it here...

Well, the art director (er... the public opinion, i mean...) asked for a tougher heroic guy. No one liked the nice rounded beer belly i created for Lizziejazzz... So here it goes, a new design for a hero from the same specie. I´m just not so sure about he being a Stalker now... Anyway, i liked the design... What you guys think about it?

Oh, and feel free to visit my Dominance War III thread and leave your opinion there:

honestly, Id say you do, however you do have something and thats DRIVE, wich will catapult you anywhere you want, so what your stuff is not the best right now, going in head first in DW3 and throwing alot of stuff in here proves you got just that. keep on pushing and you will get awsome!

and I do see some nice anatomy in here wich if studied harder will pay of even more! nice watching!

great work dude! my onlu advice on hose digi paintings wd be to start with bigger brushes and color block basic shapes and shadows, instead of those small-brush strokes that distract the eye from the rly solid lineart you start with!

I instantly recognized the Lucian Freud one
I think it can use some more work though, theres a lot more to learn from that guy! ive actually seen it 'live' a few days ago and it has great brushstrokes, which i dont really see in ur reproduction so try to look a bit better and discover the magic

I love your watercolors by the way! i love that they arent too blurry and vague like the ones my grandma makes

Thanks a lot for the replyes, guys! I was waiting till i had something to shown so i woulden´t be just a bumper... But i guess it took me a little longer then expected and now i´m looking like a non polite guy who doesn´t answer people, hehe.....

    So here we go:

    xbert - Thanks!

petitemistress - Big brushes first. That´s what i´m trying to do. And i also try to use the bigger one possible for the area i´m working on. It´s just that sometimes i forget, hehe...

ajvenema - I´m glad you recognized the painting, man! I´ll just say in my defense that i did the study in about 30 or 40 minutes... And i´m glad you liked the watercolors too!

decypl - Thanks man! Hope you visit the blog often!

Grafguy - Ok sir. I´ll do that! Thanks!

And now for the pic. Sorry about the watermark...

So i haven´t been posting, but i´ve been working. There are a lot i can´t shown, because it´s a part of an ongoing project for my master degree in animation and 3D, but there is a sneak peak at it and some other stuff i made for practice. Cheers!
