This is looking great. You seem to have an excellent eye and a good feeling for form and shape.
And you are already diggign into the anatomy so theres not much to say about that either. What I do feel is that you sometimes leaves your pieces abit too rough for example the mech it's so rough that I have trouble reading the parts of the image even when youre rough on shading and blending clearly definign the form is very important you need stable edges. But I love the last pic

really good sb. so far. your portraits are well done. i feel adding some simple highlights to them would help the contrast and let them pop even more. because right now your darks are overtaking your lights. your enviros are also really good. your figures however need some work so just keep on doing anatomy studies and practicing. keep it up.

Very nice things happening here! Your landscapes and parents portrait are stunning. You should be making money with those portraits right now! You've inspired me to try out that digital black and white. One thing I've noticed in your imaginary characters is a tendency for short arms. Elbows to navel and hands to mid thighs, as in the anatomy studies!

those sea studies are awesome man, very accomplished. work really well!

keep going on the face and anatomy studies - the more you do the better. the one crit i would give regarding these is to try and control you line weight a little bit better. at the moment your lines look as if you are unsure about what you are doing - if you practice with making single, fluid lines (even if they are in the wrong place) then your studies will have a greater feeling of confidence about them therefore making you more confident to draw those lines.......if that makes sense?

Great painting technique, very solid, I envy you. You could work some more in the pencils though, especially the full body without the reference, there aren´t much desproportions in the ones you posted, but you use the same pose in both drawings, and it´s sort of out of balance (the characters would fall, the head shoud line more closely with the feet). Everything else looks too good to be true, so keep it up.

the imaginative stuff could use a bit more flair though. try to play a bit with lighting or something, that would already make them more alive!

you're really good with water, i find it hard to draw water, maybe i just haven't studied it enough. hehe i love the 1st pic in post 42, love you made the water sparkle with just dabs of white and other light colors. just makes me say wow!

iamgale - thanks but as u said just use dabs to get the look. Paint your main water colour and the just add dabs of colour to form waves / ripples etc. and then some more dabbing of highlights!

Hi Kidult sofar all i can say is wow! I really loved the picture of your mom and dad they look really happy in it. And i love the dj picture how did you do that one? And ofcourse your a master at the ocean ^^. I just bought myself basic oil colours and some pencils going too try it out first time today or maybe tomorow. Anyhow great work soo far hope too see more.
