    Scandinavian art schools

    Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone knows if there's any art schools in Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Finland) that teaches conceptual/industrial/illustration design? As I want to get in touch with some schools and maybe take some classes outside of Highschool if it's possible with them.
So, an internet adresse, name of the school or any kind of information, I would be greatfull to receive.

    Thanks in advance.

I would not think its possible to take these classes unless you are done with highschool.

University requires that you have a qualification to study, in norwegian "vitnemål". I guess the royal art academy in Denmark is the most famous one in Scandinavia. But you can also find alot of schools in sweeden, norway and finland i would guess.

and most classes that a university offers for other people to take part in in evenings are normaly painting, life drawing and similar.

    Thanks Gundersen (norsk?).
I don't mean regular classes, but maybe just try out their assignments and stuff, and get "know'n" by the school and stuff so it'll be easier to get in later when they know I am dedicated. Purely online though, as I have no way of traveling far on my own.

And I just wondered to know if theres any schools around these countries. So I can do a little research and just ask a few questions to the principal by E-mail or something like that.
And next year, maybe, we can work at college/uni kind of work in class instead of regular class, for those who are at that stage (I am in English for an example, need more challenges) , so in Art class I could try to do some Uni work instead for an example.

There's two classical ateliers in Sweden. One associated to the Florence Academy of Art.

    The other is atelier Stockholm.

Airbrush yes I am norwegian. But currently study on Edinburgh College of Art.

My tips is to just keep working up a good portfolio, and get good grades in High school. Most unis in scandinavia have two diffrent intakes. normaly 50/50, where 50% is taken in on portfolio and the other 50% on their highschool grades.
I have studied several places in the world atm, and its nice to get info from diffrent unis when you want to know about them. But they will not remember you when it comes to accepting you into the college. If it would be run like that then it would turn corrupt

If you have questions, feel free to message me(and i didnt have any art experience before uni, except "medier og kommunikasjon")

Well, can't really call it a real portfolio, yet, but it's a collection of my best work and nothing has a real meaning towards anything. But you can check it out at my deaviantArt page http://danielhovdahl.deviantart.com/
