I always sit on the fence about this sort of stuff rather than take an overly strong stance either way. It's like religion. You just never know

One thing I did respond to in Zeitgeist, though, was the overt emphasis on entertainment today, that they talk about. I'm of the opinion that it is rather too distracting from more important issues that go on around us. And I think it's critical to evaluate that assessment on the whole rather than any one individual. In todays world, what the 'masses' think seems much more important that what a single individual thinks. Not that that hasn't necessarily been the case throughout history, but I think it's even more pronounced today in this 'smaller' world we live in. That's where and when too much distraction can become dangerous.

But as I say, that's just an opinion.
