@Queenworm - the skills for entertainment design/Transportation design and product design is the only one I am aware of so for that its a lot of understanding of perspective. If you look up Scott Robertson's gnomon dvd on basic perspective, vehicle drawing, hovercraft drawings- that is a really good basis for what 1st term is like. Other than that, being comfortable with photoshop- navigating and painting would help tremendously. If you would like to know more just email me at [email protected]

I did my degree in Transportation and Product at Coventry and i doubt the admission requirements are much different at ACCD; they basically looked for people who were keen on the subject and had a bit of drawing skill. Its not the talent show everyone seems to expect, its just a course.
To avoid disappointment be prepared to be left largely on your own for a lot of the time though, especially in the first couple of years...
