An important client just cut 6 weeks off of my deadline on a job, it was either lose the work or drop my place. Sorry guys, I'll be cheering from the sidelines

For me this is a worse time than christmas for doing art (school's coming to a close, grad around the corner, looking for and doing jobs) but mostly I hate with a passion the corner I've drawn myself into. I suck at faces, colour and texture and need to practice more than anything.

it was a little long, although I don't think it would have mattered, I'm sure we all would have been equally as busy with projects if it were now or last month....hahaha When you say cut it back...do you mean push it back?

Haha, no kidding... everyone in this thing has a ton of shit going on. All I was talking about was cutting back the amount of time given before each following deadline, not this one. I'll chop off a week or two maybe for the next round, we'll see. You busting out the ink again or going paints?

I was looking forward to some of those entries!

As a modest suggestion for the next LSM, perhaps the judges could rank the work in each match so that if #1 has to drop out, #2 (or #3) will already be on the list to succeed them.

I'm in a situation where I feel it's best to extend this for one more week. I've got enough people who will be pussing out if the deadline stands as is, so in the interest of the competition and to ensure we have a load of hottness dropping in the Finally Finished thread, I'm giving everyone one extra week.
